Climbing Damavand was a terrific experience, a memory to last a lifetime. I can’t thank Ali (Cheetah’s co-founder and CEO) and Mehrdad (Cheetah’s CXO) – both very experienced mountain guides – enough for this trip! After two days of acclimating and trekking up to Bargah-e Sevom – the southern shelter at 4200m – we decided to approach the summit the following day. Despite variable weather conditions, which are expected in early June, we pushed through and reached the summit before noon. Ali and Mehrdad, through their immense experience, ensured a safe journey all the way up (and down). I highly recommend this trek to anyone wanting to explore higher terrain, as the atmosphere up there is truly magical, and I couldn’t think of better people to experience it with. In the evening, we enjoyed the hot springs in nearby Larijan village and were treated to some of the best kebabs I had tasted during my time in Iran.

Last month I climbed Mount Damavand (5610m) with Cheetah-Adventures from the southern route. The planning was flexible and accommodating to my schedule, and they let me keep some extra equipment I didn't want to carry in their office in Tehran. The climb was amazing, they offered me to rent a pair of crampons and an ice axe which helped me a lot for the climb and also made it a lot easier for me to pack my stuff. I had a tiny little headache when we reached the summit but that may be because it was my first time reaching a 5k meter height. They're a good company, I recommend them based on my experience with other ones. Thanks a lot to my expert friendly guide Mehrdad.

You won't have a better combination of friendly, professional and compromised person than Ali and Cheetah Adventures. I just did a successful summit of Peak Damavand and it was a great experience; close contact previous to the trek to gain confidence as solo trip, total flexibility (we even adapted the days at the last moment to look for better weather conditions), expert guide Mohammad for a "winter" ascension, revitalize hot springs even if we came down pretty late and everything with the most friendly and close touch. Would recommend their guidance without doubt.

I had the chance to climb the beautiful mount Damavand( the highest peak in the Middle East) and it wouldn't have been possible without Ali's (our tour guide) constant encouragement and useful tips. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience and one of the most challenging yet fascinating things I've ever done in my life. Our guide was a professional alpinist who knew the way pretty well. His great sense of humor was also a blessing throughout the tiring moments to the summit. I had an amazing time and recommend Cheetah Adventures Group to anyone who is keen to discover Iran more thoroughly.

I conquered Damavand and visited Tehran with Cheetah adventures during summer. At first I was reluctant about traveling alone but my guide Mehrdad and the rest of the team made me feel included and were very friendly. Mehrdad was very responsible and a professional mountain climber. He took care of everything during the trek. The trek was planned very well and because of acclimatization I didn’t feel sick as we got higher. The beauty of Mount Damavand is unspeakable and we also saw the Caspian Sea from the peak. After we came back we went to this village and had a very delicious lamb kebab and relaxed in natural hot spring that felt very good after trekking for 4 days. We came back to Tehran later on and Maryam showed me around the city. She knew a lot about the history and showed me Golestan palace and Abgineh museum, told me about Qajar and Pahlavi kings and took me to a great restaurant in Tehran Bazaar. Cheetah adventures made my trip amazing and I want to thank everyone involved especially my guides Mehrdad and Maryam. I wish I had more time to stay in Iran but there will definitely be another trip to Iran for me.
