Gapa Tours provided me with a wonderful 28 day solo itinerary in Iran. Everything was so organized and detailed, all my accommodations were beyond my expectations and everyday they checked in to see how my tour was going. Communication was excellent before and during my tour, all my questions were answered immediately, no detail was missed. I had the most wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Naghmeh Homayooni and her Father as our driver. She is so friendly and outgoing, always making sure my best interests came first. She has a passion and love for her country, which was very evident throughout my excursion. I highly recommend requesting her, she is the best and provided me with such a great and unforgettable experience in Iran.
The manager Zand has a wonderful staff and runs a very well organized company that made my trip one of my best!

To write one favorite thing about my trip is hard because there were so many wonderful moments. Great communication from day one. No surprises you know upfront all the details and you get what they promise..maybe more..I was fortunate to have Eli and Muhammad as my guide and driver...I hope you are lucky to have them on your trip. I am female solo traveler and was never afraid or concerned. Hotels were great and the traditional hotels were superb! I am vegan and my guide search high and low to make sure I had a vegan meal. They were always on time and always reminded me that this was my trip and they wanted me to be happy. 100% support to get tested for covid to return home. And support at the airport. Daily calls to the guide by management to make sure things are well. And Iran is wonderful and beautiful and the people were kind, friendly and welcoming. You will love it!

We absolutely loved our visit to Iran and would recommend it to ANYONE who wants to visit Iran. Our guide Marzia from Gappa Tours was brilliant. She was super friendly, helpful, considerate and extremely knowledgeable - educating us not only on the variety of Iranian food but about Irani heritage, culture and traditions in general. We went to 4 different parts of Iran which were Mashhad, Qom, Isfahan and Tehran. We had the most remarkable tour. Not only everything was perfect, but we felt, in every instance, that our guide Marzia and our driver Ammu Hassan truly cared about us, and did their best to make this trip memorable. It is something we will remember, draw upon, and cherish for many years to come. We were pleasantly surprised by the diversity of our trip: from neolithic architectural sites to shah’s palaces, from islamic shrines to old and new bazaars, from ever changing and filled with surprises meals offered onboard, every new activity offered new experiences and the credit goes to Marzia!!
We will definitely visit Iran again!

We (two sisters 19, and 26 years) booked a 10 days Iran Trip with Gapatour in February on short notice during our semester holidays. Despite the rushed request, Gapatour managed to put together a customized tour for us according to our requests. During the whole duration of our stay we were accompanied by a tour guide that helped us facilitate with communication, transport and gave valuable information. All transit, hotel and everything but lunch and dinner was included in the price. We visited Teheran for 2 days (Golestan Palace, Jewelry Museum, National Museum and much more), then flew to Qeshm Island for another 2 days to see various UNESCO world heritage sites , valley of stars and the mangrove forests, then took a boat to Bandar Abbas and from there flew to Shiraz, where we visited the Pink Mosque, Persepolis, Necropolis and much more, then our tour guides drove us by car to Ahvaz. Already the road trip was magnificent with the view of Iranian landscapes and mountains. Near Ahvaz we visited the Ziggurat Chogha Zanbil, the Shushtar Water mills and Susa. Then continued our road trip journey with the tour guides to Isfahan, where we saw various impressive monuments and historical sites, to then be driven back to Tehran to catch our fight back home. We had the most amazing 10 days in Iran, and were really happy with the places we saw, the things we've learnt and experienced, with the kind company of our tour guides and the organization and devotion of gapatour management and all this at a reasonable price. In our experience, February is a good time to travel because it is not that hot yet, and as women have to cover themselves with long clothes and scarf, the cold(er) weather is quite welcoming.

First of all I would like to give my best wishes to Iranian people who are suffering an incredible crisis , a crisis that they, nobody, deserves. Gapa Tour and it’s manager Zand prepared for us an amazing tour plenty of nice sites, warm people, ancient cultures, history, landscapes that I never could imagine, desserts, mountains. Minor inconveniences were solved perfectly. The worst mistake was suppose that more than 900 kilometers could be driven in about 5:30 hours. Our experienced driver achieved the goal in 11 hours. He had to stop to check with police each 150km, more or less I don’t remember exactly, as it’s required for Iranian authorities in order to control every public driver not to commit any speed excess or other things. The manager should have to warn us and he didn’t but being honest I must say in his discharge that when needed him because Turkish Airlines refused us to boarding its flight last Monday’s morning, Zand made reservations in a hotel and provided us with and extended visa that had already expired. Although it wasn’t his responsibility , he was always behind us helping and supporting us.
One of the best things that occurred to us was knowing Nastaran Amiri, our tourist guide all over these marvellous 14 days in Iran. She transformed a well planned tour in something magical plenty of delicate details not included in our prigram. Her musical and sweet voice accompanied us sharing her inheritance and her love for her country. Thanks Nastaran and Ali for sharing your kindness and showing us a piece of the hospitality of your country

My wife and I decided, at short notice, to take a 7 day "detour" to Iran. Our arrival and departure dates were already fixed. Zand and his team were first class in accommodating our requests. The arrangements were excellent, guide and driver first class, quality accommodation. The restaurants surpassed our expectations. All in, I feel Iran is a must visit destination, rich in history, culture and the people are friendly. It is a destination I will surely recommend, especially with such first class operators and guides. I would recommend a longer stay, there is certainly more to see and experience.

Visiting Iran as Americans is tough enough but doing that with a toddler sounds impossible. Before this trip, we did our research comparing various Iranian travel groups and the most responsive one was Zand of GAPA. He answered all our questions right away via text or calls on WhatsApp. He was clear and realistic with our expectations. Also he spoke better English than most of the other Iranian tour operators.
We had a custom tour with very specific requests. My wife had researched the hotels, restaurants and foods all of which GAPA accommodated. Our guide Marzieh and driver Hassan were excellent and had become family by the time we left.
Despite all the negative press, the fact remains that Iran is a wonderful country with multiple historical masterpieces many of which are UNESCO sites. However, it’s greatest treasure are it’s people. We have travelled all around the world but Iranians are most friendly and hospitable people. Plus one can’t forget the cusine (such diversity and variety). The traveler is quite amazed at how safe the Iranian streets are and despite all the politics, how well we are received as Americans.
At the end of the trip and out of the blue, Zand send us an envelope with money. There were $900 in there. He told us that GAPA had overestimated and miscalculated the cost of our trip. He said based on what we had spent, he wanted to return the excess money. Who does that especially since $900 buys a lot in Iran. Just that honest action alone has prompted me to tell many fellow Americans to go to Iran and when they do, to hire GAPA.
I highly recommend GAPA.

I had the most wonderful vacation in Iran in October. Thanks to Zand from Gapa Tour who arranged my 12 days itinerary which covers Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Yazd and Kashan. The hotels were of high standard and the guides and drivers were professional and experienced. The entire trip went smoothly. I am very happy and satisfied with the services of Zand (Gapa Tour). I will definitely go back to Iran again in the near future and will use Gapa Tour for sure.

We had a 12 days tour from GAPA. Mr.Zand, even though was not with us, followed us closely to guide his team, when needed. He was very much focused on our satisfaction and strongly committed to his words and promises.
His driver was a polite guy, after our satisfation, stopping when we need, carefully and safely driving and even staying with us till late in the day.
Our guide, Miss Marzi was a nice lady, charmfull, knowledgeable, polite. Caring our type of interests and desires.

Our family of four referred to our month-long trip to Iran in March/April 2018 as "Our Big Fat Persian Adventure" based on one of our favorite movies, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." We did this because it was the best way to describe the wonderful adventure we all experienced during our stay in the magnificent country of Iran.
We are a family of Americans - 2 adults and 2 young adult children. We all travelled with Iranian passports because my husband is Iranian and we were able to secure Iranian passports as part of the 2-year long effort that went into planning our trip. My husband had not been back to Iran for 40 years and myself and our two daughters had never visited the country. Friends in the US introduced us to Gapa Tours. We had to make all arrangements for the month-long trip rather quickly because our plans changed at the last minute and we had to travel earlier than expected. That meant we were traveling during the New Year when many Iranians are also vacationing, hotels are fully booked, many museums and other tourism destinations are closed or filled with local travelers. In other words, there were many challenges and we certainly needed to put our trust in the hands of a capable group of travel pros on the grounding Iran.
Gapa Tours organized every aspect of our travels that included all hotel bookings, passes/admission tickets for all museums and cultural places, restaurant reservations, vans and car transportation for the four of us and then for an additional 4 persons - relatives in Iran who joined the tour. Gapa also hired wonderful traveling guides whom we all loved getting to know. Gapa also arranged airline reservations for travel in Iran and were always available to make last minute itinerary changes, as needed.
On behalf of my family, we were so pleased to be in the capable hands of the Gapa Tour group during our long-awaited family trip to Iran. We would not hesitate to recommend the services of Gapa Tour to our friends and family. We are planning to return to Iran and travel to those parts of the country that we did not have time to explore on our first trip. When we do, we will connect with Gapa Tour and engage them in our planning for the next chapter of our Big Fat Persian Adventure!
