It was our second time skitouring in Iran with Hamid. This time, he showed us around the Zagros mountains for 5 days. We stayed in a local house and had delicious home cooked meals every day (special thanks to our wonderful cook Narges!). Hamid is a very skilled and committed guide who listens to the needs and wants of the group. He made everybody feel welcome and found interesting tours and perfect snow for us :)
Afterwards we got to know more about Iran by visiting Esfahan, Shiraz, Yazd and Varzaneh with our attentive and knowledgeable guide Marzieh and our dependable driver Ahmad. She made sure to find the best coffee & food anywhere we went and brought us closer to Iranian culture.
Organizing trips with Hamid is great. He is very open, patient and reliable. He made sure to answer all of our questions beforehand in a very timely manner and was accommodating to all our needs & wishes.
Thanks for your flexibility and hospitality& looking forward to seeing you again! Mashallah!

My second trip with Hamid and his Crew. This time we visited the Zagros Mountains and had fantastic, untracked mountains just for us. Same as last time professional, flexible, reliable and fast from organization to execution.
Every day Nages prepared excellent food and lunch packets for us, so the burned calories had no chance to melt away.
Also, the god`s where mild with us and gave us perfect weather and conditions until the end of our trip. Just one day we skipped – and it was not only because of the weather. A rest day is also something you should allow yourself.
Unfortunately, another Guide had an accident in the mountains and broke his leg and so we had a unplanned hands-on mountain rescue training. This again proofed us that we had chosen the right company.
Highly educated in alpine rescue, Hamid led the rescue, and we built a rescue toboggan with skis, ropes, shovels, wire, sticks and all we had in our equipment to bring the injured back down to the valley
After our day`s in the mountain Marzieh showed us the beautiful culture and history of Iran. If you consider coming to Iran - don`t do it just for the awesome alpine adventures! Take some time and discover the cuisine, the old and mystical places, the culture, the deserts, the bazars and have a chat with the friendliest people you can imagine.
A big thank you to the whole Team for making it possible to not only visit your country as a guest – We felt really welcome as friends.

We did a 10 day Skitouring trip to Kyrgyzstan. Our group of 7 was led by two lovely and professionell mountain guides. They organized the trip perfectly, had a great positive energy, a lot of knowledge about the region, made one feel safe and managed to get to know the group fast in order to adapt paste and difficulty level of the Tours. We used the last day of our trip to get a lovely insight into the culture of Kyrgyzstan.
I am looking forward to the next trip!! I can warmly and 100% recommend the Iran Climbing Guide!!!! :)

My friend and I did the Big Wall Climbing Course with #hamidshafaghi through Melbourne Climbing School at Mt Arapiles in Australia. Hamid is an awesome instructor, incredibly knowledgeable and really, really patient! He customised the trip for us so that we had the best experience possible. I would highly recommend climbing with Hamid - it was an absolute privilege.

Hamid guided us for 5 skitours in the zagros mountains. He is a great guide, very flexible and always trying to find the best tours for us and providing different options. He is very engaged and cared a lot about the whole group. We had a lot of fun together but neverthesless when it mattered he showed professionalism and his excellent guiding skills.

Hamid was a fantastic professional, extremely knowledgeable, patient guide on our big wall training course. He tailored the skills to our level of experience and we have picked up a lot of fabulous skills. We will be back for more and highly recommend Hamid.

We spent a wonderful time with Hamid and his crew. We had a trekking and canyoning experience that we will never forget. The guides are extremely competent and knows very well the mountain and all the names of the peaks. The organization was perfect and the meals delicious, the team of guides always caring and very friendly. We also had a very interesting discussions about Iran and its people. Hamid took pictures and videos of our trip and sent it to us for wonderful memories. No doubt, the best way to discover iranian mountains.

We had a very enjoyable trip recently climbing Mt Tochal & Mt Damavand with Iran Climbing Guide, Our guide was Mahyar. It was well organised with good food served during the trip. Mahyar ensured that everything was safe and properly conducted for the trek. Thanks Hamid and Mahyar for this nice trip!

We were skitouring with a group of friends in Zagros mountains in the beginning of February. Hamid and his team made a maximum of the skitours despite the fact that the snow conditions were not perfect. The terrain is really wonderful with endless possibilties and the guide arranged the tours according to our expectations. Accomodation was good and the staff very friendly, especially the drivers& the cooks. They are all very attentive and eager to help or give advice. Before leaving Iran we have visited Isfahan, where Hamid has organized a wonderful guide and accomodation. We will certainly not forget the great hospitality of Hamid and his team. Cheers, Marusa
