- RoyaYerevan, Armenia17 contributionsEverything can be found thereIt’s amazing how you can find everything, literally EVERYTHING, there. It’s a nice busy bazaar in a upperclass part of the city, nice weather, full of people and shops, different tastes, different smells. Remember to buy “Lavashak” and check out the fruits there.Visited November 2022Traveled with friendsWritten August 9, 2023
- LegendaryiranIran149 contributionsColorful Iranian BazaarI can close my eyes and imagine myself in the colorful Tajrish Bazaar, feeling the aroma of fresh foods and spices and hearing the sellers and buyers bargaining; Such an incredible feel in a traditional Persian bazaar. Tajrish Bazaar is located in the heart of Tajrish historical neighborhood and near Imamzadeh Saleh (AS). It is not only a place for trades but also a cultural and social center; A combination of bazaars, mosques, shrines, prayer rooms, and restaurants in one neighborhood. Actually, I like its indoor fruit and vegetable section most. I think it is a smaller example of the Tehran Grand Bazaar. In the Tajrish market, all kinds of goods, including fresh foods, nuts, Iranian saffron, spices, pickles, handicrafts including kilim, Khatam, Mina, copper, pottery, etc., are sold. On the other hand, several modern malls such as Ghaem and Tandis shopping centers are near Tajrish Bazaar, where you can continue your sightseeing and shopping in Tehran. Also, Darband Recreational Site and Saad Abad Palace are located near Tajrish Bazaar. The bazaar is open all days of the week, even on Fridays (unlike other traditional bazaars in Iran), from 9 am to 10 pm.Visited July 2021Written October 30, 2021
- MehTehran, Iran37 contributionsCozy and warmIf you go to Tehran, be sure to visit Tajrish Bazaar. But keep in mind that Tajrish market has two parts, traditional and modern. So by asking, you can go to the traditional part. Of course, it is not very big and you can find it easily.Visited November 2020Written December 14, 2020

This is my favourite place to go shopping, when I am in Tehran. I mostly go there for the handy crafts, local food and gold. Prices are good and you will always find something nice. Outside the bazaar, if you go up and down the escalator to cross the road, you will also fin a nice kebab place with excellent kebab. We sat outside and had a delicious meal.
