I made a last minute decision to visit Iran while I was visiting Italy. This made it virtually impossible for my contact at Surfiran to help much, as it was a weekend and I was flying in on the Monday. But Saber did the impossible , and I landed in Tehran without a visa. He assured me it would be no problem and I took him at his word. When I finally emerged from the airport complete with visa, I found my guide still patiently waiting! She whisked me to my hotel and I was hooked! My guide, Fatima , was wonderful— warm, friendly, passionate about her country , and a mine of information, whether historical, social, political, or cultural. I learnt so much from her, and from her equally helpful and chivalrous driver, Mehdi. They were a wonderful team , and I feel tremendously privileged to have been on the receiving end of their expertise. The country itself is remarkable, in its ancient history, its treasured monuments, exquisite architecture and magnificent landscape. The people are friendly , helpful , and charming. The artisans create beautiful crafts too numerous to mention, and I wish I could have packed so many to bring home. I do so much regret needlessly having to cut my trip short by a few days due to family pressure at a difficult time internationally. But thanks to Fatima, Mehdi , and Saber, I will have treasured memories forever of this wonderful country. I highly recommend both the agency of Surfiran, and this country ! Don’t be influenced by ridiculous bad press and visit! You will never regret it. Gillian

I took a 2 week trip to Iran with Surfiran tour company this november. Traveling to Iran was, for a long time, in my countries to travel list because of its ancient history and all the beautiful mosques, palaces and citadels we can visit around the country. In the first part of the trip I joined a small group with people from several countries. We all got along well since the beginning wich made the trip memorable. My trip was organized by Farzaneh Sarafraz who was very patient on dealing with my anxiety through the process of getting the visa, planning the second part of my trip, which I took privately and answering all my questions concernig the trip booking. We had a wonderful time meeting local people and visiting numerous sights and breathtaking mosques with their beautiful blue and pink tiles and the palaces and shrines with mirrored walls. The gardens and mausoleums are spectacular too. All the information and historical knowledge was well provided by the guide Alireza Rahmani who was very attentive and helpful all the time. He took us to local restaurants where we could taste local food and enjoy it. We also had a nice experience tasting persian food prepared by Khatereh Tavana and her mother of Iran Culinary Tours. We visited Tehran, Kashan, Isfahan, Naein, Yazd, Shiraz, Meymand, Rayen, Bam, Mahan, Shahdad and Kerman. I was amazed by everything I saw during the trip and felt safe and welcomed all the time. The hotels are great with excellent accommodations and nice breakfast. We drove long distances beteween the cities and could observe magnificent landscapes and enjoy a bit of Iran´s nature environment. I´d like to thank you for providing such a fascinating trip that will be forever in my memory.

I just returned from my trip to Iran using surfiran. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Everything was organized and planned out excellently. My tour guide Ali was waiting for me when I arrived, and from that moment I knew I was in good hands. He is knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and extremely patient. I felt safe the entire time and had my mind blown by the warm people and amazing sites. Elham Babaee was my first contact with surfiran and she helped me secure my visa and prepare for my trip. I can't say enough about how great my experience in Iran was thanks to them.

Our 9 days travel with Surfiran was really nice. We were impressed by ancient culture and by the beauty of numerous historical monuments and modern sites. It was especially pleasant to communicate with iranian people - very friendly and hospital to the foreigners, gentle and quiet in main. And very honest, by the way. There are no intrusive traders and service like in some other countries. Every tourist could feel safe in Iran. Especial thanks to our guide Fatimeh and driver Makhdi. They are really love their country, proud by its culture and ready to share with guests their knowledge of Persian history, arts and poetry. Organisation and service by SurfIran was above of our expectations - good choice of hotels, some modern and some traditional in oriental style. Restaurants and food are much above average for the very reasonable price. Very wide choice of souvenirs of all kinds from graceful handicrafts to sweeties and nuts. And also non-expensive in main. Travelling by car between main touristic cities and place you can see different types of landscape - rocky mountains, canyons, steppes and deserts...
