I’m unsure what the big deal is. The description should read... anything made in Iran or India is sold at the Soak. I’m hoping when I return in a few weeks that I just had an off experience.
Lots of great shops. Found an aladin lamp for my son and necklace and earrings for my wife. Many many shops - you have to allow plenty of time to shop. And for tea in some shops.

Glorified market, not for me. Interesting to see but make sure you don't get lost in the narrow streets. Currency is the Bahrain dinar but they also take dollars and euros.
