I first saw this building as my bus from the airport passed by this attraction. Later in the evening, my local friends drove me around here, stopped several times to find perfect spots for our photo taking.

Will definitely visit this mall to see what I can buy and see here before leaving Manama.

Moda Mall is easy to get with the taxi stopping outside Gate 3 where Gucci and the Lotus car shop are based. The mall has the super high end luxury fashion, jewellery and watch brands. If you're looking for this it's worth a visit. It's not as busy so you can easily and comfortably wonder around. There are also a number of premium restaurants in the mall as well.

Gucci , Dior , LVuitton , Dolce Gabbana, Burberry , Tods, Hermes ,Roberto Cavalli, Versace , Fendi and the rest , they are all here . All the top name jewellers , all thats missing is a decent cafe and a sushi go round for the really chic shoppers to snack at . ( like you have in Dubai) .
Its a good mall , clean and cool. Unfortunately some of the lesser known but equally as good designers have left , its always a bad feeling when shops close

The Moda Mall is located on the ground floor of a central and iconic Manama building. It is a real pity that most of the retails are closed. After spending half an hour, you have seen everything. It only offers a few very expensive luxury brands. There should be more cafes and restaurants. The atmosphere of this Mall is very cold, not welcoming at all. You rarely see anyone there.

The Bahrain World Trade Center is 240-metre high with 50 floors. The twin tower iconic building is located in the capital city Manama. It was built in 2008 and is the words first skyscraper to integrate wind turbines into its designs. A must visit when your in Bahrain!

The Bahrain World Trade Center (For short BWTC), is a 240 m high twin tower complex located in northern coastline of Manama. Currently it is ranks as the second tallest building, after the twin towers of the Bahrain Financial Harbour, and constructed in close proximity to it.

The 80 million USD towers were built in 2004 by the multi national architectural firm Atkins, and opened to public by 2008 as a retail centre, accommodation and office space. It is the first skyscraper in the world to integrate wind turbines into its design.

The two towers are linked via three skybridges, each holding a 225 kW wind turbine, totalling to 675 kW of wind power production. Each of these turbines measure 29 m in diameter, and is aligned north, which is the direction from which air from the Arabian Gulf blows in.
The sail-shaped buildings on either side are designed to funnel wind through the gap to provide accelerated wind passing through the turbines; which are expected to provide 11-15% of the towers' total power consumption, or approximately 1.1-1.3 GW a year. This is equivalent to provide lighting for about 300 homes. They are expected to operate 50% of the time on an average day.

The project has received several awards for its sustainability.

Not suitable for families with children. No playing area and no cinema. No food court. Nothing but luxury shopping.

Not sure if I can commit 100 words to a review of a mall that serves luxury goods that you can find in any metropolitan city anywhere in the world. Is it impressive? Sure. Anytime you can spends thousands of dollars on a single item the store and environs had better be impressive. A good portion of the mall was under a remodeling so there was not that much to see and surprisingly it was empty of patrons the early evening we went. So you go window shopping as the design work is as you would expect- quite good.
Want the names, names, names darling? Then go to Moda Mall. Personally? Go to Hong Kong for this sort of shopping - much more variety to be had.

Discovered Mall by accident..because was attracted to the World Trade center and wanted to photograph the gorgeous building and its angles and wind propellers... In walking around trying to get the best "shot" saw sign for mall, so went to explore. One look at the prices will tell you that this is NOT your average mall...and you could end up either bored or VERY VERY POOR!!!
So, enjoy the free view from the parking lot of the W Tr Center, and then gingerly make your way down to the place where money talks!!
