I visited the mosque but security checked my passport and where my Saudi visa says "non Muslim" they said I could not enter. They took me to the Imam who spoke perfect English and he explained that the mosque was open only to Muslims. He was very polite and apologetic about the matter. I assured him that I understood and that there was no hard feelings on my part. He even helped me flag a taxi and gave the driver directions to my next destination! What I briefly saw of the building, it looked beautiful. I am giving the Al Rajhi Mosque 5 stars because it looks nice from the outside and they were really nice to me. I also did not want to leave a negative review with just one or two stars just because I was not allowed to enter - these are the rules and I respect them. I just wanted to post this review to let other non-Muslims know that they cannot enter.

A huge masjid, which accommodates women for Jummah prayers and has urdu translation of the Jummah Khutbah and also cued option for the hearing impaired. The only minor problem in this masjid is that we have to park cars a little far for the masjid and walk to it.
Most of the time, we get chance to pray salaatul janazah at this masjid.

the Grand Mosque is not just a mosque. it serves not just a place of worship for Muslims, but also a meeting place for the community for social events like Eids and large community gatherings. The building itself is beautiful and very picturesque. The mosque holds two libraries, forensic science courses, an automated utilities system, an 18,000-person capacity men's hall and a 2,500-person capacity for women. The mosque is considered by all who visit to be grand, monumental, and serene in nature.

Very nice interior and exterior design and huge size mosque
The parking outside is a little bit unorganized, it is better to park your car far and go to the mosque on foot

Is there a day/time when a non-muslim may request a brief tour of the facility to admire? I want to be respectful but always feel pleased to view various religious structures and admire the devotion they display. I usually leave cameras unless they are specifically encouraged.
