- FeedMeHelsinki, Finland78 contributionsGreen park with a large pondEntry was 5,75 SAR. The park had a big pond with boat rides, multiple play areas as well as pony riding for children, some food and snack booths, a restaurant, and light displays once the sun had set. Air humidity was nice due to the water. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the day with your family. With friends I will probably choose another park next time.Visited March 2021Traveled with friendsWritten March 14, 2021
- Natali KupetskaOttawa, Canada130 contributionsSuper greenIt’s a nice escape from city life. It was raining when I was there. But any way so much of green color, lake cause good influence. The park is huge with nice landscapes. With lake and small bridges . You can buy a small snacks which I would not recommend to do ,kiosks does not look hygienic. But people coming there and having small picnics, it looks nice. You have to pay for an entrance but it’s not wonder as long we are in the desert. Also park has working hours does not work anytime of the day.Visited December 2019Traveled soloWritten January 28, 2020
- Selvie D9 contributionsEcotherapyI've been here for several times. It's preferable to come early in the morning and late afternoon when you like to savor the sunshine and the sunset. There are rides for kids, too. For me, I just enjoy the cool, quite ambiance and smoothie.Visited December 2019Written November 10, 2020

We checked on the website before we drove to the park (and paid a driver) to be sure it was open. The website listed the day and date with the hours it was open. However, when we arrived, it was closed "for maintenance". If KSA wants tourists there is much to be done so that tourists don't leave disgruntled!

It's a beautiful park and nice to visit with friends or even family. Salam park is one of the best parks in Riyadh. I have heard of some safety issues there but never encountered anything personally.

Since there isnt much in Riyadh esp for ladies. Salam park is a nyc place to spend your weekend.
Boating for ladies is also available for a change in a separate section. kids and adults both can enjoy. although its crowded but well maintained and clean.
Snacks can be bought from the small stalls placed but it would be good to carry ur own food.
entry fee is sr5.

Nice park with small ride boats , recommended for couples who like to walk between the trees and take nice photos during the week days as it’s not busy .

Been there on a Saturday and it was a very nice break.
The entry fees is 5 SAR. Friday is more crowded and its hard to find a parking space post 4 p.m. Bring your picnic baskets and pick a nice spot overlooking the lake. It would be more convenient to be seated at a place in between the date palms for children to get easy access to play areas.
There is also a horse riding area for kids.
There are small snack shacks providing krispies, burgers for 5SAR. If you are fond of tea, i suggest you carry yours.
Enjoy your weekend but please be sure to dump all waste in the bins(there are many)
Littering is a nuisance here.

Probably, Salam Park is the biggest park in Riyadh. We constantly liked going there and spending time. The parking area can get crowded on weekends. The park itself is long, and yourself will get some area to rest and unwind. It is also good for a walk. Several Saudi families and expatriates crowd here. The best attraction of the park is the manufactured lake, which is around 33,000 sq. meters. Lake has huge fishes. You have to pay entry fee, which is trivial.

This park is nice with lots of trees. On the Friday when I was there, very few people was there. You can see the old city from it, but cannot visit it, which is sad. Cops will also not allow you to even take photos of the old city. There are enough restaurants and coffee shops just next to the park.
