Amman Petra Full-Day Trip

16 reviews
If you have time for one side trip from Amman, make it Petra. Carved 2,300 years ago by the Nabataeans, this southern Jordan UNESCO-listed rock city is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. This private tour whisks you there and back in a day by private air-conditioned vehicle and with an itinerary customizable to your wishes. Hotel pickup and drop-off is included, with optional local guiding at Petra at own expense.
$98.00 per adult

This rooftap bar, made of what appears to be old parts, has a pretty nice view but nothing too exceptional. The music seems to have been catered toward the crowd present; I heard a bit of Billie, Lil Nas X and definitely some country music, all in English. The drinks were kinda of expensive, but what alcohal isn't in Amman? Oh. Also, you can eat in an old Wolkswagen bus from the 50s!

Sekran during the day looks like an odd building tucked off a side road on Amman's Rainbow Road. By night, it comes alive with ambient lighting, giving it a jazzy, rough and ready vibe. This sports bar-esque venue offers a very large selection of local and western food, a good choice of drinks (including beer), with plenty of comfortable spots to recline in (especially after a day at Petra). Thoroughly recommend if you want to get away from the crowds and enjoy the local hospitality.

We went to this crappy place that was completely empty, they gave us a below average overpriced Amstel and they charged us 1.5jd each for a bottle of water we didn’t ask for. Even if you feel like having a beer and If you feel that it is quite difficult to get it here, avoid this place if you don’t want to feel disappointed and mad.
