About
Ola's Garden an exquisite collection of contemporary crafts. Jewelry pieces made from natural materials, leather work, mosaic, collage paintings, embroidery. Also I provide courses in Creative Jewelry Making. My recent style reflects an interest in nature, humans and heritage, committed to design rather than trends, I design directly from life. My materials are from Jordan nature: wood, sand, leaves, paper, coffee, tea, leather, beads and some old abandoned treasures I find in my way, beauty never dies it emerges in deferent way; just keep your mind open for new possibilities. I opened my workshop at the beautiful Khirfan Street the oldest street in Amman; Located just off the end of Rainbow Street in the trendiest part of town, my Garden provides a cozy little haven to spend time peacefully admiring the many items on display. I treasured every aspect of the place. With my jazz music playing; you can feel the soul of every brick dancing, sparkling on my works Whether you come to Ola's Secret Garden to buy a special gift, learn jewelry making or just to talk art; you are always welcome. Sincerely yours Ola Mubaslat

I visited Ola's Garden today, with my roommate and friend - we're interning with an international organization in Amman over the summer, and will be returning to the US soon. It was a great find at the end of a day spent shopping for souvenirs on Rainbow Street, and I must say, I wish we had found her shop first! Everything in the store is crafted with great care, love and talent by Ola herself, and you will not find two alike pieces. Every item has a story, like the earrings I bought, which used to be buttons. Chatting with Ola is the icing on the cake - she is a sweet, extremely interesting person, and I enjoyed her thoughtful reflections on her experience, on Jordan, on business and life in general. I left feeling peaceful and content, not to mention enthralled with my purchase. If I lived in Amman for more than a few weeks, I would definitely be a regular! I can only hope that Ola soon comes up with an online platform to sell her unique designs, because I would be a faithful customer! Best of luck with the Garden, and with everything, and hope to see you again soon!

A must stop in Amman for a nice dose of charm and pretty things. Even if you don't buy anything it is such a nice place! Jewelry, decorations, clothing...make sure you look in ever corner, on every shelf...there are little surprises everywhere. Ola makes everything in her shop, and it's all stuff that you don't see everywhere else. It's an experience, really...I love how she places all of her pieces so nicely, you can easily spend an hour checking everything out. And then if you do buy something, she will nicely wrap the beautiful pieces, and another surprise for the soul awaits as you open the little packages. Ola herself is the nicest host! Definitely worth going! Easy to access from Rainbow street coming down two sets of stairs, or go all the way to the bottom of Rainbow, make a right and keep walking till you reach no. 60

I have been going to Ola's place for almost 2 years now and each time I go in there is something new on display. The original quirky creativity continues year after year and she produces some very clever unique pieces that you will never see anywhere else. It is a very inspirational place to be and as one reviewer put it before, you get a very 'Zen ' experience when you go in which is not only to do with being surrounded by works of art, but mainly to do with the owner Ola herself. It is a very peaceful place to be and one of my favourite places in Amman. A little tricky to find, but if you continue past the 'Soap House' to the end of the road and turn right, about 0.5 km along this road you will find Ola's shop on the right, you will know it by the CD's hanging outside glinting in the sunlight! Forget the mass produced tourist trash, you need to take a trip here.

I went here specifically as it was mentioned in The Rough Guide and I thought it could be a good source of gifts with a difference. It did not disappoint.
I spoke to Ola, who is a delight, an obviously talented and intelligent woman with a polite, informative and pleasant manner. We chatted for a bit and I bought a couple of small items. Most of her collection is suitable for women, of all ages and tastes. She blends traditional materials: fabrics, beading, colours and styles with a fresh modern angle that makes her collection quite unique. It has the 'feel' of Jordan and the Middle East, but is a variation on what is available in so many of the other shops around.
The location is a little out of the way, above Downtown and on the route to Rainbow Street, but is worth going to visit.

This is the best shop I have visited in Jordan. It's different than anything you'll see elsewhere. Each piece is special and beautiful in it's own way. But...most beautiful of all is the artist herself. Wow. What a soul!

It's hard to leave. There are treasures in every corner. If you go for a visit, you'll see that you can get lost in there!

Ola is a lovely woman that has opened this workshop on her own and makes every single item in the shop. She has a wide range of items - jewelry, mosaic, embroidery, clothing, leather work, decorative items, etc. Each item is unique and her work is beautiful. Please, please, please stop by her shop when visiting Amman. She is not far off Rainbow Street and it is well worth the trip.

Ola's Garden is a wonderful shop. A bit off the main road of Rainbow St it was definitely worth the detour. The shop is filled with an enormous variety of jewelry and other accessories, each one hand made and one of a kind. The prices ranged widely and were reasonable. And the items themselves are all made and designed by Ola using only locally supplied materials. It was hard for me to restrain myself from buying the few items I settled on, each of which is absolutely perfect! Ola is also just wonderfully sweet and helpful. She was so open and easy to talk to that we found ourselves lingering in the lovely shop well after we were done shopping. The shop and Ola, it's proprietor, are both truly treasures that shouldn't be missed!

Meticulously made pieces; rich product line; let alone the exceptionally friendly owner who will make sure you enjoy the experience. And finally, nothing beats the delicious home-made treats as well :)

Truly hand made, heart made.
