This was the second time I went with Treks on a hike. We planned a private group with 16 people (8 adults and 8 kids ranging between the ages of 6-10 years old). Wadi Assal was recommended by Treks as a good hike for children and they couldn't have been more right. The kids started to complain almost as soon as we got off the bus about it being too hot and them being too tired to walk. But within 15 minutes of starting we got to the water and we did not hear a single other complaint for the next 6 hours. Wadi Assal was such a beautiful wadi that was enjoyable for all ages. Our guides, Mahmoud and Ahmad, were phenomenal and were able to answer all the kids questions in a very fun and interactive way. The whole trip was very well organized from the second we got to the meeting point in Amman to when we returned back 12 hours later. Hana, who I had booked through, was very patient in answering all my questions and following up with us upon our return. They really do care about the feedback from their customers.
The previous week we went on a hike to Wadi Karak with 16 adults... It, too, was a private group arranged through Treks. And that was also a very well organized and fun experience. Though I would not recommend it for younger children.

Hana helped us organize a fantastic 2 day trip of Petra and Wadi Rum. We were 5 adults and 3 children and we all had a fantastic time. Hana helped us organize transportation, tours, and meals for our trip
The tour guides and drivers were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, the cars were in fantastic shape, everything was on time, food recommendations were great, and tours were even better. We had a very short stay and were able to take advantage of every minute! Would recommend 100% to anyone visiting the area

It was a breeze booking a hike with Treks. They always have answers to my questions and were flexible enough to accommodate all the changes I requested to the itinerary of the hike. The logistics of the hike was very well taken care of and I always arrived to campsites with everything set up. Dinner was amazingly good and food was plenty. Everyone from the team was very kind and friendly and that’s even when some of them can’t speak your language. My guide Zaid was very knowledgeable about the trail and everything that lives/grows on it. He also has many interesting stories to share about his experiences hiking in the area. He has an excellent pace for the hike, fast enough to always finish the day within reasonable time but slow enough to not get too tired from hiking the whole day. The hike itself from Dana to Petra was nothing but spectacular, with beautiful sceneries that were different everyday.

We did two hikes with Treks: Wadi Mujib to Karak and the last to days of Petra to Wadi Rum. I would recommend organising a hike with TREKS if you're interested in the Jordan trail. Samar provided us with great service throughout the planning of our trip and was always ready to help us with any questions.
Our guides were also very friendly and knew their environment extremely well.
Overall TREKS offers professional service and communication, but you do pay for this (not a budget option).

Treks team is by far my favourite hiking group, they are so professional, extremely organised and the guides are all professional, knowledgeable and great at what they do. I highly recommend their wadi hasa camping trip, the wadi is amazing and Titi's( guide) dinner pasta is one of kind. if lucky, you get pampered in the morning with cheese and orange mamalade for breakfast! I highly recommend them.

I could write a review like the others, 5 stars, amazing people, amazing organization, amazing support, and it would be true but beyond that, this is an organization that looks after you. First of all, how cool is it that the organization supports local Bedouins from the region you are hiking in to provide support, and not just logistics but updates on trails, campsites, shortcuts, food, drinks, when to go, where to eat, everything you need to be successful and have fun. We opted to carry our own food, and cook but still our drivers made sure we had tea and warm food to eat whenever they were around.
We had some hot weather and we werent sure what the best approach would be, our driver showed us on the map where we could meet a few kms early to avoid the heat of the day, allowing us to hike in the cool of the morning and rest in the afternoon. He met us at the rest point with some cold cokes. One day he suggested we move our camp to ensure we were well set for the next days hike through the colourful canyon, it was so nice to be flexible depending on our energy levels and the days hikes. We hadnt spoke to Samar in days and yet at each check point the driver was waiting, the hotel was booked, and the water was packed just like she said it would be many days before. On our last day, our driver took us to an amazing lunch where he paid so we could get the locals rate. We offered to pay for his meal, and like other instances he refused - instead saying welcome to Jordan! Never once were we ever asked for extra money, or did prices change, or lost in translation. We were more than happy to tip for this amazing service.
We will be back, if you are looking for a custom hike or a fully guided tour, I can easily recommend TREKS!

I've visited Jorden couple of times before, but with TREKS we saw the real Jorden, we were a group of 36 people, TREKS organized our trip being considerate about every single detail from the Camps hikes & treks, traditional food to the local cup of tea & coffee at the middle of nowhere.
Our 6 days trip covered a diverse country ranging from deserts, canyons, mountains, sea, the Petra and a touch of the city.
Great guides make all the difference! special thanks to Fouad & Munther for the exceptional experience.
Our first defiantly not last trip with TREKS, highly recommend!

This trail was amazing. Hard but beautiful. My favourite section was the coloured canyons in the south. One of the best things was having a Jordanian guide with me from Treks Jordan - Monther Al Titi - his rich knowledge meant it was an exploration not just a hike.I would recommend Treks Jordan 100 %. My wife and me were doing a trek from Dana to Petra during 4 days. We met our guide Monther during the dinner in Dana's guesthouse and discussed some details. We started the trek the next morning at 6am while the driver took our baggage to the camp place. The trek followed the Wadi Dana where we stopped in the Feynan Eco Lodge for a short break and then walked further on. Monther told us a lot about the nature, the landscape, the country and the people especially the bedouins. After 8 hours we reached the camp where Haider (driver and cook) gave us a warm welcome with cold ice cream. After a delicious dinner we slept well in our tent. The next day we started early so we reached the summit before sunrise. After a long walk downhill a natural pool was waiting for us. What a feeling. In this wadi was water and a lot of plants. Many times Monther was cooking tea during our breaks. We met only one person during the whole day and there was no sound from airplanes, cars or people only the birds were singing. The second evening was so quiet, we were sitting around the fire and had another great dinner. On the third day there were some clouds in the morning but the hike was spectacular allways with the view on Wadi Araba. The landscape was just amazing. On 4 pm we entered in civilization near little Petra, a little chock. The night in the bedouin camp was very lovely. The last day we walked to Petra but not on the main way, we came over the monastery, a place in the morning not so crowded. And suddendly Petra was here with the monastery, the Siq, the Treasury and ....
After 4 wonderfull days in the nature we had to say goodbye to Monther and Haider. We were very sad then they showed us the real Jordan, they told us a lot about nature, animals and people and they gave us a unforgettable experience. We are sure that we are coming back and will hike with them form Petra to Wadi Rum. THANK YOU for all, Monther and Haider

We were very sad then they showed us the real Jordan, they told us a lot about nature, animals and people and they gave us a unforgettable experience. I had a fabulouse trek from Dana to Petra with Zaid. Everything was very well organized and Zain is a very comforting, expierienced and kind giude. I just can recommend booking this tour with treks- you´ll gonna see the most beautiful countryside and you´ll make an unique expierence.
