I had an amazing time with Experience Jordan Adventures on the 9-day Dana to Petra trek including wadi Rum and the Dead Sea! From my initial inquiry, the team was responsive and answered all my questions. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and well looked after throughout the trip. My guide was knowledgeable about Jordan’s history and Petra, making the trek even more memorable. The company was also flexible with my itinerary, adding a dive trip in Aqaba and a smooth transfer back to Amman via the Dead Sea. Highly recommend!!!

What a fabulous trip. I’m so glad we booked with Experience Jordan. Fantastic itinerary, that they were able to adapt, due to heat concerns by us for one particular excursion. Our guide Mahdi, made the whole trip for us. His wonderful humour, knowledge, and openness made this more than a sightseeing trip. We got a chance to dive deeper into Jordan and its beautiful, welcoming and honest people. I had reservations of potential safety concerns with current tensions in the Middle East, but as soon as we arrived in Jordan, I couldn’t have felt safer. Petra, the Wadi Rum and Wadi Mujib were all spectacular as we had assumed they would be. However, the people of Jordan, from taxi drivers, the Bedouin community, the amazing Jordanian ladies we encountered along many routes and of course our superb guide Mahdi were what truly made this trip. I recommend this company highly. Jordan is a very special country and I hope to be back soon!

Once in a while, you take a trip that changes your life. Our time with Experience Jordan Adventures was one of those trips. Over six days, we cycled approximately 300km from Amman to Aqaba. From start to finish, the EJA team were excellent. In the planning stages, they were responsive and patient. We had some concerns regarding the regional security situation; Anton was informative and reassuring throughout. Rest assured, Jordan is safe to visit!! The trip itself was magical. Each day was action-packed: we sped through sandy canyons, hiked Petra and crossed the Wadi Rum desert. The EJA team organised everything from snacks to accommodation. Anas and Abdullah were marvelous company, especially after those steep climbs when some extra encouragement was needed! We laughed, we shared stories, and we experienced the most beautiful scenery together. I cannot recommend this organisation, or the trips they organise, enough. If you're looking for an adventurous, challenging and fulfilling experience in one of the most beautiful landscapes, these are your guys!!

A trip of a lifetime! Accompanied by an amazing family of hikers and our stellar guide, Motaz — we experienced a journey that far exceeded our expectations! Beautiful scenery, amazing people, and a complete cultural encounter. Motaz - our affable tour guide, Attila - our local guide and Haetham led us through the desert skillfully and were a joy to spend time with. We were very well taken care of! Eid and his wonderful Bedouin family took care of food and everything else at our wilderness camps. A truly unforgettable experience. Thanks to Motaz and his teams!

Can not recommend the Hike & Bike enough. It was a great mix of sight seeing and activity. The hiking took us to the lesser travelled trails around Petra and the 2-days on the bike allowed us to see some truely spectacular views and venture off the beaten track on some very fun but easy terrain. This tour ticked all the big boxes but with a dynamic twist.
Our guide Furat was superb! Such a great character and so easy to get along with. Any tour would be lucky to have him as the leader.

We really enjoyed this trip. We originally booked in 2020 and had to cancel because of COVID. Experience Jordan was really helpful in handling that. We were glad to be able to book again in 2024. Even after 4 years of anticipation, the trip exceeded our expectations. Our guides and all the camp/hotel staff were so hospitable and often went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable experience. The hike was a great way to see the varied landscapes of Jordan, and made for an unforgettable day at Petra. The time in Wadi Rum and at the Dead Sea was a great conclusion to a fabulous trip.

I just finished the Dana to Petra hike (booked through skyhook but run by experience Jordan), the trip is great really well organized and definitely worth the time and cost.
The highlight of the trip however was our incredible guide Motaz, he led our group with incredible kindness, hospitality and humour (even with bad weather and Ramadan fasting stacked against him!) Motaz really made the trip unforgettable and would HIGHLY recommend any trip with him if you have the opportunity. His warmth, character and of course knowledge and understanding made our trip. Was incredibly sad to say goodbye but so grateful for the effort put in by him!!

This was hands down the highlight of my stay in Jordan. There was a really good balance of guided/ self-led exploration along the trip, with many of the stops giving you a chance to explore yourself which was always really fun. Watching the sun rise in Wadi Rum was probably the highlight of my trip, I have never experienced peace like I did on that morning, it was phenomenal! As a solo female traveller, I felt so safe during the whole trip and credit must be given to our AMAZING driver Ahmad for this. From the minute he picked me up on the first morning, till the time came to say ‘see you again’, he made sure myself and the other 2 members of the group always felt comfortable, stopping often to get us snacks and drinks for the road, pausing at various points on the road to soak up the views, and telling us so many incredible stories about his country. He was a very experienced driver and I always felt safe in the car with him. Side note: great music taste as well! I never felt like he was hurrying us, even when other members of our group were late to return to the car, he was always so patient and polite with us. When I was waiting for other members of the group to come back, he drove me to a nearby shop and bought me juice because he felt bad I was having to wait so long. Altercations will always arise when travelling, but Ahmad always handled them so professionally and with so much care, his eye for detail did not go unnoticed and he deserves all the rewards for this! He was always on time and had a smile on his face. Thank you so much Ahmad for your generosity, hospitality and care throughout the whole trip, anybody will be so lucky to share such precious memories with you <3

What an amazing adventure! Travelled as 10 friends, safely guided by the amazingly knowledgable, calm, hilarious, patient and kind trekking guide Mutaz Jarrar, for four days - we climbed the highest peak in Jordan, rode camels, horses and camped in the wadi rum, trekked to Petra through the back routes, explored this incredible place by day and night and finished off with a dip in the Red Sea. We gave Mutaz lots of challenges which he handled with grace, calmness and humour and I couldn’t have felt safer or more welcome in his country. I absolutely loved it and will be back. 10 friends, 11 if you include Mutaz, 4 days and a life time of memories. Thank you.

Yes it will be very hot during June and July. I suggest that you look at one of the weather sites and get an idea of the exact temperatures during that that time.

The price for a driver plus hiking guide is substantially more expensive. What would we miss out on by paying only for a driver?

When I went we kind of did our own research on the sights we were going to visit and just had the driver. That would be my best advice. Had a ball, didn't miss a beat.

Do you mean all your visit to holy land and Jordan will be for 4 or 5 days?in this case it is not enough..for Petra and wadi rum 24 hours :leaving Amman early morning to Petra ..entrance to Petra 50 jd for non arab people..you will leave Petra at 6pm to Wadi Rum..sleaping in one of two camps there "i prefer Jabal Ali Camp"..at 6am tour in the desert and sunset watching..after breakfast in the camp you will leave to dead sea arriving at twelve check in at 3pm in one of the hotels"i prefer Marriott"SPA and swimming..at twelve you will leave to Al Maghtas where Jesus has been baptezided..after the tour of 4 hours back to Amman..the day after visit to jerash and back to Amman in the afternoon..rest for two hours and visit to down town Amman Roman temple and national museum..the day after leaving Amman early to Om Qais and the humma original SPA at the border line with Israel..return to Amman in late evening..now for eating lunch box going to Petra..diner in the camp in Wadi Rum..in dead sea Marriott restaurants are wonderful..in Amman for arab food:deir al kamar restaurant..Narenj restaurant..Levant restaurant..for french food L'Entrecote a Dabouk e La Maison Verte a Shmeisani..for Chinese food Ren Chai near Royal hotel..if you want more informations ask and i will help you..for holy land minimum 6 days..and after visiting holy land no entrance to Syria,Lebanon and Iraq
