This area is gradually taking over from Rainbow street as the place to visit for bars, restaurants, art galleries and just generally wandering around. The two streets that should be visited are located by Paris Square (which is actually a circle). The place really comes alive at night as there are few visitors before then. I really enjoyed the street art on walls and on buildings

Lweibdeh is the place to be for young urban Ammonites and expats alike. With its hip cafés, shops, and lots of greenery it is a very pleasant place to be and visit.

It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Amman, it is becoming a walking area, full of shops and restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and more.
Many good good restaurants offering a large variety of food from junk food to 5 stars meals.
Visitors of Jordan highly recommended to visit this beautiful area of Amman.

This area is great for an urban hike, but definitely wear your hiking boots. roads are rough, sidewalks are potholed, you'll step in mud even if it's not raining.

Our hotel was nearby so we visited this area a lot, especially the restaurants and cafés, but also the galleries and shops. In our view it is just as interesting as Rainbow Street (if not more). Enjoyed some great meals in the area.

From the reviews I read I was expecting more, but it is certainly different from downtown Amman. Relaxed vibe around 7-8pm and then the local lads come out around 9pm cruising in their cars with music blaring. Some nice bars and coffee shops, but the area is mainly just a couple of streets and a roundabout.

Based on trip advisor reviews my expectations were high, booked a cab to particularly visit this place. As per the Google and Uber the cab dropped me at Paris Circle, moved around that place and then left after sometime.

Jabal Al-Weibdeh is one of the oldest locations in Amman. Nowadays it is a very popular tourists and expats hotspots, and as such there are many hip bars and food outlets at reasonable prices. The streets are suitable for having a walk as well and there is a small park as well. There are many places as well offering cooking classes.
