I was unprepared for the beauty and variety of Jordan with its antiquities, outdoor activities and spectacular sites. Mona and her team gave us a breathtaking tour, with a guide and driver who were professional, knowledgeable and entertaining. There is something for every sort of traveler here, including families. Ill never forget the feeling of waking up in a luxurious tent in the Wadi Rum desert with its great stillness and spectacular views. We also loved Petra, spa treatments at the Dead Sea, historical sites, a boat tour (with an excellent lunch!) on the Red Sea, and Amman with its stunning ruins and busy street markets. Such good food every day! As a woman I never felt judged or unsafe in any way. This was the trip of a lifetime.

Dear BayAreaJB The pleasure was mine to host a very exciting tour for a great group from the USA. The sites, sounds, spa and friends that you met are the Mona Choices of Jordan. I take pride in hosting like mind women (and men) and sharing the rich culture, heritage, experiences that Jordan has to offer. We were also blessed with a great Team, the safe driving of our driver Hassan, and the remarkable stories of our guide, Issam Wishing you well from Jordan and hope to see you again in Jordan.

Could not have dreamed of a better experience facilitated by Mona. She planned every moment of our excursions to a “T,” and made it possible for our group to see, hear, taste and touch Jordan from Aqaba, (the Red Sea) to Wadi Rum where we explored the vast desert via keep tours, and watched the sun rise and set from the most magical places including the Dead Sea, I almost can’t put into words how history and culture came to life from the perspective of Jordan. Thank you for providing a “beyond” travel experience! Hopeful to be back again. 🫶🏻

Mona Naffa handled every detail expertly during our one-month Fulbright cultural experience in Jordan. She knows everyone and everything, and she provided accommodations, outings, and meals that exceeded my high expectations. I look forward to coming back with my husband and possibly a church group.

I spent 8 amazing days in Jordan with the help of Destination Jordan, Mona and our wonderful guide and driver. Our group went to the Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum, a boat tour on the The Red Sea, Jerash and Amman. Putting a trip like this together would have been so difficult for me being in the states but they did a first class job. They even took us to the best local restaurants. This would be perfect for groups or families. Jordan has so much to offer visitors with all of its beautiful sites, food and culture. I always felt safe and more than taken care of with our host and guide looking after everything. I couldn’t recommend Destination Jordan and visiting Jordan enough.

If you are in Amman, it is very much worth visiting Desert Castles as a half day excursion. The castles are scattered throughout the desert located east of Amman and are not “castles” as we might expect them to be. They are buildings which are isolated and were used either as caravan stations, hunting lodges or secluded baths. Most of them were built in the period of Umayyad dynasty as their desert retreats for princes who were of nomadic origin, dating back to 7th century. We have visited two of them, Qasr Amra and Qasr Kharaneh, which are nearest to Amman, app. 65 km drive. The architecture is amazing and especially the one of Qasr Amra which is UNESCO’s listed site, which is covered by beautiful fresco paintings in its interiors. Fresco paintings are showing bathing scenes, cupids and are most probably painted by western artists. Qasr Amra was used as a bathing place, with complete infrastructure visible – water tank, pipes and system which was extracting water from the well to the tank – very amazing indeed!!

Thank you for your positive comments regarding Jordan's castle tour, a highlight of Jordan. The Jordan Castle Tour is the ideal Tour to see the UNESCO’s listed site, World's Heritage Site-Qasr Amra and the 2nd largest Crusader Castle in the Middle East--Kerak Crusader Castle. We hope to see you back in Jordan soon.

My driver was scheduled to come to my hotel at 9am to start the tour. At 9;30, I asked the concierge to call tour company. Agent there said driver forgot, then that there was a misunderstanding and my tour was to begin at 10 (9:00 was printed on the voucher they provided). Driver arrived at 10 and gave me a tour of the city to the Royal Museum (informative, interesting and delightful), then to the Roman Amphitheater, which is an astounding example of Roman know-how 2000 years ago. Next was the Citadel for a fantastic view of the city and a visit to the Archaeological Museum. The highlight for me was King Hussain's automobile collection (my guide tried to tell me it was not part of the tour). I tried to add photos but got an error message that this site does not accept that format. Pity.

Greetings, Thank you for your remarks as we do take full responsibility of the error in the meeting time. The driver was instructed to be dispatched prior to 10am to your hotel, though the tour started at 9am and we did our very best to get to your hotel before 10am , an error on our management. Once we realized the meeting time discrepancy we then notified the hotel, the concierge at the hotel to share with you that we made an error of the starting time and we were on our way. We do our very best to be an efficient company when we realized our mistake. Though, we are pleased that you enjoyed the Amman Tour and we hope that our open air museum met all your expectations. If your travels take you back to Jordan, we hope to assist and share our country with you once again. Thank you.

We booked a tour of Egypt, Jordan and Israel with Memphis Tours in Egypt. While in Jordan our guides were employed by Dakkak Tours International. We found the guides to be really good. They explained everything and really cared about your comfort and wellbeing, not only in words but in there actions. I will contact this company when I travel to Jordan again.
