Don't look further. If you have a familiy with kids aged 3-11 and look for an activity for your kids, then this place is a must visit. The children's museum offers a combination of playful, fun, and educational exhibit items and activities. The only disadvantage I could think of was the lack of a proper restaurant, as they only have... More

It's the best place of never-ending fun for children of all ages, there are lots of interactive playing courts and early learning games which make them live in a hypothetical world like shopping in a supermarket, driving an aircraft, fixing a car in a garage, or even working in a bank, in addition to painting and drawing classes.

We were staying in Jerash and drove from there to the museum on a Monday to spend the day with our children there. When we arrived it was closed. There was nothing posted anywhere I could find online or on the building saying why it was closed. When I called the number for the museum they said they were preparing... More

What a wonderful museum - it felt more like playing than learning, with an aeroplane, archaeological dig site, toy supermarket, garden, toddler area, building site....a great day in Amman.

It is a nice place to take your young kids to. Lots to do and see and they get to learn a few things along the way as well. Make sure to have a guided tour as the staff there are really friendly and teach the children as they take them around.

The children's museum is the place to go in Amman if you have kids - similar to Melbourne's Science Works, it provides a lot of hands on science and technology type of activities and the kids never tire of it. Will visit on every trip to Amman.

If you're Australian, you can compare this to Questacon. It is a large, modern and fun children's science museum. Everything is hands-on and there is heaps of variety. Visit while the Jordanian kids are at school for maximum fun, as it can get really busy on the weekends. The café is reasonably priced for snacks, or bring a picnic and... More

Certainly worth a visit for the bright and modern hands on activities for children aged up to about 10. It is both fun and educational.

Went to the children's museum with my two year old... There's a room for toddler play which has some really interesting things to stimulate a toddler's imagination. The museum has a great variety of play areas including their outdoor area. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
