This was a great museum to wrap up our family trip to Amman. The concept of the museum is a copy of the children's museum from the USA but with a Jordanian twist to it. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their time and got the chance to learn more about the biodiversity in Jordan, the local currency and the hajj holiday.

A must see place for all travelers with small (and old) children

My two boys love going to the Children’s Museum. We have a membership and go regularly. So many different activities for them to do and learn.

My 4th trip, the kids of love it but every time when we enter or exit or wait for our car a really dirty and creep homeless person comes to beg (I guess so) and scares all the kids; unsure why the management doesn’t do anything. It’s a great place for kids and in a so called safer and clean area of Amman, why we have to tolerate this nuisance every time. It’s very unhygienic also

To entertain ourselves on our last day in Amman/Jordan, we went to both this museum and the Royal Automobile museum to avoid the August heat outside.

The exhibits in here are cool and a targeted towards younger kids.

On the day we visited, it wasn't too crowded. There was coverage on the human body, grocery shopping, flying, animals, money exchange and media type exhibits and more. It seemed to take on a combination of a kids science museum + role playing a bit like kidzania but on a more old school level. (It's also way cheaper than kidzania!)

Cool momentos the kids took from here include money with their face on it, and a new bulletin on thermal paper.

We ate at the cafeteria. It was ok - quite bland and affordable. If you can, perhaps bring your own food.

Overall, we were happy to have taken the kids here to have fun on our last day, along with the Royal Automobile museum.

It is a must visit for children when visiting amman. There are different experiences to go through. The musuem constantly adds or renews various attractions. Very lovely staff. Check their daily schedule before visiting as to get the most out of your visit. It's a non-profit institution, however I thought it would be lovely to see a gift shop on the way out as to remember this place with a small souvenir for the kids.

Do not miss visiting this incredible museum if you have little ones. It will appeal to any age from 1-12. Its not only fun but extremely educational. Everything is written in Jordanian and English. The kids had a blast and we easily spent over 2 hours exploring this world class childrens museum. We loved it so much that we visited twice, at the start and end of our 7 day long holiday to Jordan!

It is a nice place to take your young kids to. Lots to do and see and they get to learn a few things along the way as well. Make sure to have a guided tour as the staff there are really friendly and teach the children as they take them around.

Went to the children's museum with my two year old... There's a room for toddler play which has some really interesting things to stimulate a toddler's imagination. The museum has a great variety of play areas including their outdoor area. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Pro tip - go on Friday mornings circa 10am and you'll avoid the crowds. It'll just be your kids and a handful of expats.

This is a wonderful place for indoor, educational entertainment for kids. It beats the cost and noise of jungle bungle and similar chuck-e-cheese places around town. There are indoor and outdoor sections, a library, and a new area for under 5 year olds. We end up here almost every weekend, particularly in the rainy season.

Get a family membership. It's relatively inexpensive and you can add your nanny as an additional child (insert commentary on the local view of domestic workers here). This really is a first world place and I highly recommend it.
