We saw this was supposed to be a gay beach.
It’s definitely NOT!
I could only describe it as perhaps gay friendly.
Mostly straight families with lots of children.
The beach is full of cigarette butts.
The water is clean & warm.

Hilton is the gay beach from Tel Aviv. Since I am from Brazil, used to Posto 9 in Ipanema, Hilton beach was a little bit disappointing, it is a very small and secluded beach full of gays, there is nothing around to buy, so go prepared, bring your own stuff.

This is a popular beach on the Mediterranean Sea in Tel Aviv. It's between the religious beach and Gordon beach. Hilton Beach is below the Hilton Tel Aviv. The beach is roughly 300 meters (roughly 1,000 feet) wide. There is a lifeguard station and many shade structures. One end is a designated dog beach, the middle is a popular gay beach, and the other end is a family beach. The water is warm and calm for the summer and fall, with some people enjoying nighttime swims. During the winter and spring the water is cold and there can be dangerous surf and swells. There are loungers and umbrellas for rent.

We visited the beach, end of June on a windy day. Hot a taxi to Hilton hotel and walked to the beach (downhill which is a bit of a torture to climb afterwards). The path there was nice, grass at first and then safe pathway to the beach (see photo). Even though the beach was not calm, it was very enjoyable. We were lying under the sun on the comfortable beds, ordering drinks to the waiters that were passing by. Passion fruit smoothie was outstanding and really refreshing!! We had lunch at the small kiosk there and was okish. The beach however is definitely recommended! (Photos with the white ombrellas show the part we were at. The boats are just nearby)

It is very well located big open air bar/restaurant on a nice beach prime location in TLV.
We sat at sunset and ordered 2 caipirinhas, called "brasilian mojitos" on the menu, which should make us aware of their ignorance of this brasilian cocktail. Of course, the caipirinhas had nothing to do with the real thing, and we complained and asked the waiter what could be safe to order. Gin&tonic OK? Gin&tonic we ordered. It was the worst gin&tonic we ever tasted, but we were uncomfortable to send the drinks back again, so we swallowed part of the disgusting stuff...
Having asked for the bill that would not come for 15 min, we had to look for the waiter, stop him and ask for the bill.
Of course this service is not to be gratified with tip; when we mentioned that the waiter became aggressive and threatened to charge us for the sent away caipirinhas; the arrogance and hostility did not get better even with the "manager" present.
Our advice : in this bar, ask for beer, they can't be wrong. Advice for Hilton : get a barman! Lesson for the staff : tipping is not a right of the waiter, it is a reward for GOOD service, from the kitchen to the table!!!!

Just back from 12 days in Israel. Tel Aviv last stop and what a wonderful way to end. We booked 2 rooms Vista level at The Hilton and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. Truly wonderful experience. Spacious suite with views to die for. Even from the bathroom! Service throughout was accommodating and friendly. The staff quickly knows you are a guest and greats you warmly whether walking in the front door or in the Vista lounge. Pool is a little crowded but it is a huge property. We typically prefer smaller, boutique hotels but being at the Vista level gives you the best of both worlds and you simply can not beat this location. Don't let the Hilton brand fool you into thinking this is a mid range hotel. This is Hilton at it's very best! Go!

The Hilton Bay - Absolute Beach & Surf Restaurant has a stellar location, right on the beach, but we found the pricing to be much too high for what you get. I don't mind paying more for higher value, and I understand that there will sometimes be a premium because of location, but I felt like we were taken advantage of by this restaurant. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Wow, guess we should have read the reviews before visiting this little bar on the beach. It looks so appealing with lovely tables overlooking the beach, palm trees, lights. In reality it was one of the worst service experiences of my life. Four colleagues traveling together, end of a long night, ordered four cocktails, they were fine. Came time for check, asked waiter. His name was Itzy, not sure on the spelling. The waiter told us that service wasnt included--we acknowledged and said we'd certainly tip (we're American, we always tip...usually too much). The waiter continued to hover over us until we handed him what he deemed an acceptable tip. He told us that he works hard, and deserves a good tip for his work. He literally wouldnt leave until we gave him enough shekels. I have never been shook down for a tip before, and I can say it was an incredibly uncomfortable experience.

Only opened 2 months ago we got very lucky finding this gem! Excellent food and drinks with a Killer Ambiance - awesome music too!relaxing with very comfortable ringside seats for an amazing sunset! I had dress fish bbq on a skewer with fresh hummus and fallafel and my husband had Wiener schnitzel with Israeli Beer! We were in 7 th heaven! Even though the menu is all in Hebrew the great waiters gave us fabulous service and recommendations! A visit there is a must! Enjoy! Life is short!

Nice restorant/beach bar but the service very slow. We had a family dinner , after we ordered we got informed that the food will delay 30 min, 25 min passed and we got informed for another delay in total 40 min. I asked at least the meal for my son 10 years old ealier and for us no problem. Got e promise that it will. 60 min passed I went to the manager complaining...only after that and 15 more min we had dinner. Not good at all. The waiter waa so rude at the end that complained about the small tip that I dont know why I gave because they pissed me off . No go for this place 😫😫
