Ariel Sharon Park or the "Heriya" Park
Sep 2018 • Family
A stunning place.
The park is clean, pleasant, colorful and inviting.
We walked there on the morning of the New Year's Eve and were very pleasantly entertained.

We parked down in the parking lot and there are shuttles in the direction of the park (we were told that it is impossible to park up near the park but the slats are very comfortable and every few minutes there is a shuttle that comes out and returns).

There are services throughout the park clean and comfortable.
There are drinking taps throughout the park.

There are benches scattered along the park in shaded places and there is plenty of grass to sit and enjoy today.

Stunning views of Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan and more.

We took
Bicycle for the child and he really enjoyed driving in the park ...

So recommend you to grab a few snacks, a ball and a roast and enjoy this stunning park.

** Walking on paths not shaded and shot in the sun. We got promoted and it was pleasant. At noon it will probably be very hot

A testament to the power of recycling
Apr 2018 • Friends
When I first heard about this place I have to admit to some cynicism and a little chortle at the irony of having Ariel Sharon on top of a garbage heap. However, on visiting and seeing the outstanding work of many people involved in the recycling project I am full of respect for their effort.
Still a work in progress but the work so far is magnificent, from the recycling of building materials to the purification of the water supply and replanting of the whole site. This is a must see and an object for all of us to really start cleaning up our mess. Highly recommended.

Ecology on steroids

This is an amazing place -- a garbage mountain transformed into a nature reserve.
The view of Tel Aviv from the summit is breathtaking, and the landscaping is inspiring.
There is a superb educational center on garbage recycling, with some highly innovative exhibits. There are also concerts there in the summer months.
But it's not easy to get to!
Trip Advisor's address for this park is not the correct one for admission. Look it up on Google

Well build park, with picnic tables.
The sidewalks are calm and comfortable, and lead you to the great views to the west.

Great for hot days!
Free entrance and parking.

The hill was once the Tel-Aviv garbidge site which is now planned to become the largest park in the metropolis. Very nice out looks around. Large grass lawns for kids to play. Too little shading. Would be happy to see the trees growing.

Stunning place to visit
Nov 2016 • Friends
I visited on Saturday, and we both had no idea what to expect--we were really blown away!! It is a beautiful oasis! You can walk, enjoy the view, sit and smell the beautiful scent of flowers and shrubs, listen to the birds, watch the clouds go by, ride a bike, look at the stunning views of the valley and to Tel Aviv, have a coffee, and truly have a relaxing, green, lush outdoor experience. I shall return!
