I've travellled with a group of nearly 25 people across Israel and on the very last day we hired David for a tour to the Judea desert. In my opinion it was the best tour we had. David is a very professional tour guide and really knowledgeable, and he tailored our tour so smoothly that the day has passed without we even realized it! I highly reccomend David for his skills in providing a unique historical and humane perspective of the complex history of the holy land.

My sister and I had a tour with David around Tel Aviv and Jaffa / the old city - we had SO much fun and David had SO much knowledge to share. We loved the tour so much that we adjusted our schedule so he could also take us to Jerusalem that same week. We went with David via train, which was great because we skipped all the traffic and got a feel for the local public transportation which was a plus. David knows all the spots to stop at in both Tel Aviv, Jaffa, and Jerusalem and he catered the tours to be exactly what we wanted to see. Judging by the many hugs and handshakes David got from locals on both tours, it’s very clear that people around town love and respect David. I lost count of the amount of times people that told us how lucky we were to have him as our tour guide! I could listen to David’s stories all day. I truly didn’t want the tour to end. Thank you David for two AMAZING tours! I recommend David 100 times out of 10.

David gave us great tours of Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv--he was extremely knowledgeable, very passionate, and shared interesting and entertaining stories. He very effectively captivated the attention of a large and very diverse group of people. He was also very flexible and adaptive to our wishes and constraints. I recommend him very highly and without any reservations.

We absolutely loved our tour with David. We were a group of 3 and spent a full day exploring Jerusalem's Old City, including Jewish, Christian, and Muslim sites. I had visited the Old City on my own several times, but I got so much more out of it this time with a guide who knew the history well. David is lively, fun, funny, and highly knowledgeable. All the logistics were handled very smoothly. We learned a lot, had fun, and also got to eat delicious food at little places we never would have found on our own. I would highly recommend doing a tour with David.

I did a guided tour of Jerusalem with David and also Tel-Aviv-Yafo. His experience and deep knowledge of history, culture and heritage are extraordinary. Walking through the streets of Jerusalem with David is an immersive experience, a beautiful day that I will never forget. Thanks a lot, David! It shows that you live your work with passion and enthusiasm and you know how to transmit it. I really want to go back. See you soon!

My friend and I have recently had the pleasure of experiencing a one-day tour of Jerusalem with David Steinberg as our guide. We were thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and passion for the area, as well as his friendly and engaging personality.
David's deep understanding of the history and culture of the region brought the sites we visited to life. He was able to provide insightful and thought-provoking commentary that made the tour truly enriching and educational. His attention to detail and organization ensured that the day ran smoothly and efficiently.
In addition to his great tour guiding skills, David Steinberg also went above and beyond in supporting us before and after the tour. He provided recommendations for books to read to enhance our understanding of the region. Since we stayed in Tel Aviv, he suggested us wonderful restaurants and places to visit there. These extra touches made our experience even more enjoyable and memorable.
David has a genuine passion for the Holy Land and a desire to share his knowledge and expertise with others. He truly went the extra mile to make our experience the best it could be. We cannot recommend him enough!

David is an exceptional guide with a lot of experience, knowledge, and kindness. He made our experience truly amazing during multiple tours (Jerusalem, Nazareth and the Sea of Galilée, Tel Aviv, etc.). David's storytelling is strong and impactful - a lot of stories that I will definitely remember.

My daughter and I were thrilled with the experience David curated for us. I highly recommend his tour! He pointed out things on the drive to the Old City that set the tone for the day. His knowledge, kindness, curiosity and perspective were unparalleled. We explored sections and ate at places that we would never have tried on our own. The tour was a splurge for us but truly worth it. We later took a bus tour to another site and there is no comparison. If you really want to experience the richness and vastness of this country, hire David as your guide. You will sink into the true experience instead of being a bystander to it. He is a master story teller who brings the history to life!

My wife and I had on free day in Jerusalem. We had, two days before, taken a group tour of Jerusalem with another tour operator. The first group tour was very good. We wondered if we had gone overboard hiring a private guide for this free day.
We communicated with David and told him what we had seen and he assured us there was so much more to see. And there was, of corse. Much, much, more
We started at the Mount of Olives and went down to Gesthemane. Wonderful laces which our first tour had omitted. Then to the Old City going in a different gate than before, focusing of things not on the group tour operators standard walkthrough route.
The whole day was wonderful. We saw places and did things that few tour operators would know about. A wonderful rooftop view. A hidden European coffee shop and garden. Tunnels beneath a nunnery dating back to Roman days. A terrific restaurant wit items we would have never ordered on our own, but which came together in a wonderful Middle Eastern feast.
There’s a reason David has a universal five star rating. We felt we splurged on this before we went. After it was over it felt like a bargain.

David is an exceptional tour guide and I recommend him wholeheartedly. David led us through a magical tour of Jaffa, through mysterious side allies and beautiful vistas. David enriches the experience with historical insights and amusing anecdotes.
I am from Tel Aviv originally and thought that I had already seen everything there is to see around town, yet the tour I had with David made me feel I rediscovered Jaffa.
Our group included both locals and tourists from various places around the globe and David fitted us with a tour that felt just right. I would also mention that he is fluent in both English and French. Thank you so much David, I can't wait for the next tour!
