The Block club is situated in an old bus station in a building that look like it used to be a warehouse or a terminal of some short.
The area is somewhat dodgy with a lot of migrants and walking there gives you an uneasy feeling. Better take a taxi in and out, there are plenty waiting right outside.
You can pre-book your ticket via its website and download it on your smartphone. There are different prices The later the more expensive.
We played 80NIS per person 23.00. There are queues outside depending on whether you pay on the spot or have pre booked ticket. They admit people in groups to avoid crowding and give them the pep talk prior to entering: "no drugs, no videos, don't do anything stupid".
There is a cloak and safe boxes if you wanna leave your valuables at the entrance (carry 5NIS coins with you).
The club itself comprise several different halls connected with maze like corridors. Everywhere the same uplift kind of beat music and weird decoration. Beer costs about 30NIS. There are hundreds, maybe even a couple of thousand people inside at any given moment.
Perfume and sweat all over the place, dim lights, cable troughs above, and all kind of people looking to dance, have some fun, or search for some x-stacy.
Toilets are supposed to be for gents and ladys but is so crowded that genders mix and both men and women wait outside the cubicles for their turn. Occassionally more than one person entering the next available toilet cubicle.

Hands down the most exciting and best underground club I have ever been to. It is right next to the central bus station in Tel Aviv, the entrance is through an old entrance to said bus station. Their events on Thursdays feature international headliners from the Techno and House scene. To get an idea of these names check out the Resident Advisor top 100 DJ's.
Price: Entrance to this club is expensive in my opinion, expect to pay up from 100 shekels which, depending on the currency exchange, came down to about €25,-. Prices inside are normal, not expensive, not cheap.
Length: Events on Thursdays start at 23:30, and end 12 hours later. However, I left at 8 a.m. due to tiredness, and more and more people leaving the club.
Age and ID: on the site it says that the events are 24+. However, I got in with a 19 yr. old girl no questions asked. It's said that Caucassian appearances are more favored since they want to attract tourists, I can't confirm this.
Atmosphere: at 2 a.m. the waiting line was ±10 minutes. The outer appearance of the club already gives an underground feeling. Inside, the club is quite dark overall, with multiple rooms and a maze of corridors connecting eachother, illuminated by orange strips of light. The people inside were friendly and enjoying themselves. They have a no-phone policy with people actually going around minding you if you look at it, they call it "respect the vibe" and I think it benefits the atmosphere greatly.
Sound System: Hands down the best sound system I have ever heard at a club, and better than most festivals in Holland. There's not really a 'blind spot' where the sound clearly comes from a certain direction, it's fully Surround in the whole club. Loud enough to enjoy, soft enough to speak to people up close.
I went only once, to my regret. It was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend to any fan of Techno and House, probably more exciting than the Berghain.

Top quality sound and the best dj's in the world, combined with the free and outgoing spirit of Tel-aviv..... makes this place one of the best to go out for a long night of clubbing in these days
Just try it for yourself
Have fun :)

So this very "exclusive" club is great once you get in, assuming they didn't oversell tickets to screw everyone over like these greedy people do. I have been multiple times I've been in life threatening situations due to the stampeding and pushing of the lines to get in. Tip for girls: put your hair up while in line so it doesn't get pulled in 12 different directions.
Getting into this place is so disorganized and takes half the night it's not even worth it. By the time you made it through the yelling pushing crowd you're in such a bad mood that it ruins the night.
So then they give out club member cards. Great, this should help, right? Quite the opposite. It creates more lines with tons of entitled people pushing.
I have respect for clubs with a great sound system that put on great parties. But if you can even figure out how to organize the entrance? Get out of the business.

They opened the club 1 hour late, the security ignored us and then they even had the balls to charge triple the amount for the entry fee, would not recommend.

Having traveled to numerous places in the world, visiting tonnes of clubs I have to say I was disappointed.
The music is monotonous, drinks expensive and 'the vibe'... I havent experienced it.
There are better clubs in Tel Aviv

Bad vibes, aggressive and violent, expensive entrance (drinks are priced fine), people occupy the bathrooms all the time for using hard drugs (my post was probably deleted because I gave more explanation to this issue which is quite a big thing, I had to go piss outside just because I couldn't stand to wait in line with this crowd, it was very unpleasant).
I wouldn't recommend this place.

We got throwen out after arriving on time and being let in at first. After that we had to wait 1 hour because the opening times were wrong just to finally be able to queue up again and be told we would have to pay 3 times the promised fee into an empty club with few to none people waiting.
Would not recommend unless you know someone working there because you can just go in for free and so it doesn't matter when you arrive. Also, the security personal was not very helpful and changed opening times 3 times after asking when they will open up.

The club opened one hour too late, and they charged three times the price that was stated on the internet. We were kicked out because we arrived on time.
