Elan guided us on a private tour and professionally and interestingly combined stories about Tel Aviv once along with stories from my mother's childhood. Elan has very broad knowledge, knows names and places, instantly draws interesting history details.

We booked Ilan for a private tour for my Mother's birthday, we were just shy of 20 people.
Ilan commanded the attention of the group with his charisma, expertise and amazingly wide knowledge of the city.
You could feel Ilan's love for the city, the country and his profession through his words. He knows how to pace the tour, deliver information, and spice it with tidbits of knowledge I am sure nobody else can give you.
Our group, while as eclectic as the design of some of the beautiful buildings we learned about, collectively enjoyed the tour very much and my mother was overjoyed.

Ilan guided my family down my father's memory lane. We provided him with some pointers and locations and he planned the tour accordingly. The great thing about the tour was that while Ilan knew a lot about every location he was attentive to the audience and gave my father the opportunity to share his memories too. Everybody, young or old enjoyed the tour and said so, for my father it was very emotional and I saw how much he enjoyed hearing more about the places we visited.

We did a tour with Ilan Schori in Tel Aviv; In the Neve Tzedek and Neve Shalom neighborhoods.
Ilan is full of knowledge and a great guide. It was excellent.
Ilan tailored the tour to the content that interested us (Jaffa Jews, their departure from the city, the neighborhoods outside of Jaffa and divorced Jaffa Jews).
The tour was interesting and educational.

We toured yesterday with Ilan in Tel Aviv around the stations of Eric Einstein's life. We were five people including one English speaker and of varied ages. It was a wonderful tour! Ilan is full of knowledge and conducts the tour in a pleasant, fluid and interesting way accompanied by songs by Eric Einstein and stories that you don't hear every day. Highly recommend, a special experience. Sharon

Yesterday we celebrated my cousin Batya's 80th birthday, and on this occasion her sons organized a tour following our childhood in Tel Aviv. The guide Ilan Shchori accompanied us through the streets of old Tel Aviv, with patience and love. We heard from him about the beginnings of the city, about the important architects that worked there and the special buildings of the "White City".
I want to thank Ilan for the excellent guiding, for the great knowledge he demonstrated, and hope to return and use his good services together with my children and other family members who did not enjoy this wonderful morning.

We had a fabulous walking tour with Ilan on Christmas Eve in Jaffa. Ilan is a "walking history book." His knowledge of Jaffa's history and the history of the Holy Land and Modern Israel is amazing. He made historical events connection, and suddenly, we could understand events from a very different perspective.
He is a people person, connected so well with all the people who came on the tour. He waited for some people who had difficulties walking and paid attention to everyone . He is funny, speaks very clearly and above all he loves, and enjoys his job as a guide.
I highly recommend his Hebrew and English tours to everyone who wants to learn about Tel Aviv and Jaffa's "secrets."

Experienced 2 great tours with Ilan. A half-day tour of Tel Aviv, where we chose the areas our Odysseys Israel Tour would not be covering, and a full day trip outside of the city to another area we would not get to see on our tour. Ilan was recommended by a friend, and was everything she said he would be! Ilan is a very knowledgeable and experienced guide, and enjoyable to be with. Ilan responded very quickly to my email requests and made plans for our review. He was very helpful and accommodating to all of our needs. He also arranged a great driver and comfortable van for our group of 4 for our full day trip. So glad he was available to guide us!
