Ilyll has great track record working with London Business School groups visiting Israel. She reached out to ensure she had a holistic view of the group attending the Graffiti Tour and this really facilitated her engagement alongside her colleagues. The group was split into smaller groups and shown around the area. All questions were answered and Ilyll asked challenging questions and made thought provoking comments. We also visited a small arts shop which had some very interesting merchandise and a cool Art App. The Graffiti Tour was definitely in my top 3 activities in Israel.

We had a great time travel experience with Ilyll guiding us very nicely and professionally in Tel Aviv and taking us about 100 years back, at the times when the new city was established.
Ilyll helped us visualizing in our minds how the mix of cultural factors affected the development of the city, how the different architectural styles expressed the emotional and functional needs of the people living in the city in the initial decades of the past century. Thanks to Ilyll, it was an amazing way to see Tel Aviv with different eyes!

One of the best tours I joined!
Ilyll gave us not only an insight into the city's development and the Bauhaus, Cubus and eclectical architecture mainly on Rothschild Boulevard, she took us beneath the surface of what you see, how a city's story is written, how development, architecture, economy and politics are interwoven.

I definitely recommend Ilyll as a tour guide as she interacts with you, has a lot of knowledge as such and about details and she is a very cheerful person.

Thank you, Ilyll!

The thing I enjoy most about traveling is the opportunity to meet new and different people whose experience of life has been very different to mine. Despite knowing Tel Aviv very well I was not familiar with the Neve Sha'anan neighbourhood before taking this tour. Ilyll was so much more than a guide. She contacted me in advance of our meeting to better understand my interest and then delivered a series of encounters that I will remember for a long time. She provided social, historical, architectural and cultural context in a friendly, engaging and accessible way and was able to help me speak to a number of local people. This included both long time residents and newcomers, all with their own stories and experiences that they were happy to share with us. This is something that it would have been very difficult if not impossible to do alone. She was also able to answer my many questions. The tour was the highlight of the time I spent in Tel-Aviv and when I am next in the city I will definitely repeat this experience.

After nearly 30 years in Israel I struggle to find new and interesting things to do when my parents come for a visit. Ilyll's tour ticked all the boxes - she did a wonderful job showing us sites and a perspective we'd never seen before, even after visiting Jaffa countless times over the course of several decades. In fact, she even had new stories for me about a cafe I'd eaten in with friends just two weeks earlier... Highly recommended for both tourists and locals - you'll be surprised at how much there is to learn, right in your own backyard. I look forward to bringing a group of local friends to another of Ilyll's tours next time we're planning a fun day out.

Illyll is most knowledgeable (and lovely) and structured an interesting and off-beat tour. It worked well for us since it was not our first trip to Tel Aviv.

The tour was much more than bauhaus buildings, but that was interesting. Our guide led us through the history of Tel Aviv, why it is unique, and then the cultural and architectural development of the city. It was very relaxed and informational. All you need are sensible shoes and a hat if it is sunny. The tour itself is free but tips were welcomed. I would recommend it highly.

There's nothing like great food to sharpen your senses and help you appreciate other cultures. Ilyll did a terrific job of winding us through Tel Aviv's Yemenite quarter -- helping us open our eyes, and our taste buds, to this fascinating part of the city. We met and spoke with several vendors at the Carmel market (with Ilyll as translator) and learned about the history and ways-of-life of this part of Tel Aviv.

I have to admit that when I first booked this tour I was a bit nervous -- both because it is a bit more costly than the more typical Tel Aviv tours I read about, and is also more unusual in its focus. But it was worth every penny -- I mean shekel!

Ilyll provided us with a remarkably well-organized and thoughtful tour, a tour we'll long remember. I'd highly recommend Ilyll as a tour guide. If we had more time during our stay in Tel Aviv we would have signed up for one of her other tours as well -- but we'll have to leave that to our next visit.

I recently partecipated in the Intercultural Jaffa Comfort Food tour and it was excellent. The tour was interesting and Ilyll was nice passionate and knowledgeable. She really has a uniquie point to share! Walking in the narrow old streets of Jaffa, Ilyll taught us how to look at the various cultures and understand their symbols and languages.
Eating lunch at a house of a local family was the peak. The woman who hosted us, cooked a rich and diverse meal of traditional Arab food. We were introduced to her family and had our coffee with them talking about the current Israelin life. How is it to live nowadays as Arabs in Israel? How was it once? We got to hear stories about Jaffa from the locals who both were born there, grew up there and live there until today. It was very special and left me wondering about what is required to really meet one another when we come from different cultures.
