We had a great day with Debi and Maty - both artists. It was cold and rainy and we still had an amazing experience. We explored street art and graffiti, learned about the artists themselves, visited a few wonderful galleries, and learned about the art scene in Tel Aviv. We finished up the tour in the Florentine district where Debi and Mati gave us a great restaurant recommendation. Now I don't remember the name of it! I highly recommend this art adventure. Our family of 5 (kids 15, 15 and 12) just loved it.

Loved this tour, with Debi. Would highly recommend it to any art lovers visiting Tel Aviv. Debi is well connected with folks in the art world from street art, to photographers, to sculptures and is an accomplished artist in her own rite! On a whim, she even got us into a studio that had closed for the night. Plus an artist did a 1minute portrait for each of us. A+++

This was one of my favourite things I did in Tel Aviv. Debi took us through a seedy, industrial area choked full of artist studios, gallery openings, exhibits, events and street art in southern Tel Aviv. She's thick into the art scene and seems to know everyone. It was a fascinating evening and something I wouldn't have been able to do myself. Besides visiting artists, you learn about the state of the arts and life as an artist in Tel Aviv. Debi was a plucky, insightful guide and a helluva lot of fun. I'd highly recommend this tour. Support the arts! Debi also works as an artist and is passionate about the arts.

I've heard so many times that "Tel Aviv never sleeps." Even during the recent hostilities against Israel from Hamas, the art world keeps on rockin'. We were referred to Debi Oulu to guide us through some of coolest, most interesting galleries in Tel Aviv. Not only did Debi do an amazing job as a tour guide, but also made sure that all of the other senses were stimulated with great music and even better food! To kick off the experience, Debi took us to an amazing restaurant called Claro in the newly rehabilited neighrhood of Sarona. The restaurant is in a building that was a castle of sorts for the Templars during the times of the Christian crusaders to the Holy Land, and there is even a very cool wine bar in an underground tunnel! The food was very fresh with all of Israel's bountiful produce, fresh fish and other delicacies in full view in the open kitchen. After a great meal we walked through the Florentine neighborhood, where we saw numerous galleries displaying the works of established as well as up-and-coming Israeli artists. At one of the galleries, there was a jazz/folk band playing, while the crowd spilled out onto the street, sort of reminiscent of Greenwhich Village of the 70s and 80s. We then walked around the neighborhood, admiring a plethora of graffiti that for a change, was not gang-related, and wound up at "the world's smallest art gallery" about the size of a phone booth, with about ten different pieces. Debi's explanations of the art as well as the background of many of the artists was the "frosting on the cake." If you are looking for an ecclectic interesting look at Tel Aviv that is unique and off the beated path, Debi's art crawl is a must!

Anyone can walk the streets in a big city and find expensive art galleries but we wanted a REAL experience in Tel Aviv- you know, the kind you only get by knowing someone in the art scene. Debi took us to several galleries and an opening with live music and it was fabulous! We had a great time walking the streets of Florentine and hanging out with interesting people and artists. We hit an opening with soulful live music at Mishune and then Debi walked us on a tour of street art and funky exhibits. We never would have found this gritty and artsy neighborhood on our own or with a standard tour. The vibe of this area is just very cool. Thanks Debi!
