One of seven clock towers built in Israel celebrating the 25th anniversary of Abdul Hamid, II, a Turkish Sultan who wanted to "conduct the empire's cities by precise, Western timetables". The Ottoman Clock Tower features four clocks reflecting the time in both Israel and Europe. Erected in 1901 in Jaffa's Town Square and serves as yet another icon of Old Jaffa.

The Old Jaffa Clock Tower dates to 1903 and marks the 25th Anniversary of the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid II. It was a simpler time when ordinary people didn’t have watches, so this clock tower, like the others around Ottoman Palestine, were a necessity. Today the Clock Tower stands watch over Old Jaffa. It’s in excellent condition by the way.

A bustling area but a great spot to visit and admire. The whole area is clean and well kept and there’s so many coffee shops and cafes nearby to sit and watch the world go by. The clock tower itself is nice and while not huge, still impressive. Well worth passing by and taking a trip to see.

Easy to find. We were supposed to get a tour here but the guide never showed up. I don’t know why. It is a great starting point for a walk around the old city of Jaffa. You can find great falafels just across the street.

This is a lovely photo-op attraction in old Jaffa.
There are plenty of eateries in the clock tower's vicinity, however I'd prefer a hotel in Tel Aviv, rather than there.

The Clock Tower is a good starting point for a tour of Touristic & Artistic Old Jaffa.
The tower by itself is not much of an interest, but good landmark located at the beginning of several Tourist Attractions in the surrounding area. You may begin your tour at at the bottom of the Ancient City Jaffa, or go to your right and 1st visit the old Jaffa Port with its restaurants along the water, and then again go forward and start at the famous Jaffa Flea-market (the biggest in the country). Basically it is the Starting Base for a few important tourist landmark. and great meeting point in case you get lost.

We really enjoyed driving into this area, and seeing the clock tower standing there. This whole area has so many little areas to explore.

This is the meeting point of the Old Jaffa.Time is short, and the schedule is fix. History 'might have' meets modernity in Tel Aviv, one of the Middle East’s most exciting cities. I was unsure Is it 'back to the future' clock tower? The Tel Aviv free walking tour, it was a popular meeting spot at the middle of shopping square. The tour leader make sure 'none get lost', while waiting in front of clock at street David Raziel.
