Our tour was planned for October 10, 2023. Rebecca and I had exchanged hundreds of emails so a group of 48 could come: 1/3 of us were to go on to Petra after Israel.
Then the horrifying events of October 7 happened. Of course we cancelled.

I had traveled once before with this agency and found them to be wonderful- flexible and accommodating. This time was no different.

I want to tell you that they returned all of our money save a tiny deposit. In midst of a national horror, they zoomed with our group to give an update on what the financial situation was and were true to their word. That’s quite a statement. And this trip followed what I’m sure were lean covid years.

Praying that we can again pick up, someday, where we left off and visit this incredible Holyland. Israeli Christian tours plays a long game with its clients and is an honorable agency indeed.

This experience was life changing for everyone who went. Israel Christian Tours exceeded our expectations on every level. Rebecca is an outstanding professional in her field and customized every step of our tour in Israel. The entire time was without any interruption or disappointment. All accommodations were Five Star. This tour agency became like family and not a corporate / client relationship. We can highly recommend Israel Christian Tours. Trust them with your every need...we did and will do it again.

This was an amazing trip. I had high expectations and was not disappointed. Israel Christian Tours took care of everything. If you are interested in seeing so many sites this is the only way to do it. The guides and drivers were fantastic. I especially loved Ditza!!! I never felt unsafe and always felt well taken care of. A priceless trip!!!

I took the Nazareth and Galilee day tour and was extremely disappointed. I've been on dozens of tours around the world and this is among the worst. Only a small part of a very long day was spent touring the sites. After a long drive, we immediately spent about 25 minutes at a gift shop (where the tour guide clearly had a side deal with the owner). We then visited two sites followed by a two-hour lunch (at a restaurant that clearly also had a side deal with the guide). We visited only two more sites, and then drove right past several others to head back to the hotels. The tour guide from "United Tours" seemed to have only a basic understanding of the biblical history of the sites, which defeated the purpose of booking a Christian Tours. As an alternative, I'd recommend scheduling a tour directly from an independent guide. Many of them have facebook sites. At the least, book with company other than Israel Christian Tours or United Tours.

My booking with Trafalgar to the Holy Land was cancelled which left me to panic since my flight booking has been finalized and ticketed. I did research on the web and was able to identify Israel Christian Tours for a suitable date to tour Israel. My first contact was with Rebecca and I am pleased to say that she is a very organized and professional travel advisor to arrange this tour for me. We exchanged a couple of emails and Rebecca was able to answer promptly all my questions pertaining to this tour. Our group was small, only 13 of us and our tour guide/driver was Emmanuel Levy, an excellent, knowledgeable and patient guide. The mid size van we used on the trip was clean, comfortable and quite new with WiFi. My family enjoyed this tour of a life time and would highly recommend to use this tour company for your tour to the holy land. Thanks to Rebecca and Emmanuel for making this trip a memorable one.

We just came back from an 11 days Israel & Jordan Heritage tour. First of all, I would like to thank Rebecca for her patient & professionalism. Without her, I probably would have cancelled the tour & missed a chance of a life time.

We had visited most of the places that were menionted in the Bible, such as Nazareth, Bethehem, Sea of Galilee, etc. Seeing these places in person really make the Bible comes alive for us. If you want to visit Israel but are concerned with what you're seeing in the News, dont. We'd walked every where in Jerusalem (even late at night) & felt safer there than we did in some of the large cities. Your guide will tell you where you can go & where you shouldn't. As long as you stay within this boundary, you will be pretty safe.

Our trip to Jordan was amazing as well. Before the trip, we thought Petra was the only high-light for Jordan, we were wrong. There are other sites, such as Jarash, Madaba, Mount Nebo (where Moses saw the promise land before he died), etc. that make Jordan a beautiful country to visit. We would also like to thank our guide, Rami, for making our visit very enjoyable. Rami is very knowledgable, enthusiasm & funny. If you're planning a trip to Jordan, make sure that you ask for him. He has been a guide for almost 10 yrs & it shows.

Tips - You may want to read the reviews of your hotels before your trip. Some of our hotels were nicer than other.

I did the Israel and Jordan Highlights Tour with Israel Christian Tours with about 28 other tourists from 29 September to 9 October, 2013‏‏. It was a faith-deepening, eye-opening and a life-changing experience for me. The Tour left me breathless in terms of what I experienced - memories of which I will take right into my old age!

Coming from Australia, the sense of spirituality, history and culture that I experienced in all the places I visited during the Tour just left me awe-struck! An example of which was walking on the cobble-stoned paths of the Way of Suffering in the Old City of Jerusalem on which Jesus Christ and His disciples may have walked! I think I will never fully comprehend the spiritual, historical and cultural richness ("thousands of years old") of ALL that I saw, touched, smelt, heard and tasted during the Tour - the colours, the cultures, the architecture, the world-famous landmarks, handicrafts, food, garb etc - were a real assault on ALL my senses in the most pleasant of ways, and that is an understatement!

The Tour produced many highlights for me, too many to mention. But I will have to mention Jerusalem, as described above, the Wailing Wall, the Temple Mount, the Garden of Gethsemane, Masada, the Holocaust Museum, Petra and Jerash. Seeing the exhibits of the Holocaust Museum was just heart-wrenching.

Many places the group visited were like movie sets, set up for the shooting of movies with a background of an ancient Roman or a Biblical scene, but those places were for real & permanent & were the relics of a rich and sophisticated by-gone era.

Again, coming from Australia where it seems like almost everyone lives, works, shops and travels around, 24/7, the continuing of the keeping of the Sabbath in Israel in a 21st-century world has impressed me beyond measure.

Seeing how 21st-century culture co-exists with ancient - thousands of years old - Middle-eastern cultures was a sight to behold, time and time again, as we travelled around. An example of which was watching men in traditional garb who continue to dress as their fore-bears did and which has has not changed for generations, using modern-day technology like mobile(cell) phones!

Our down-to-earth and friendly but firm, Tour Guide, Shuki, just oozed passion for Israel and it was evident in all that he "showed and told" us about his country. He was just fantastic with his encyclopaedic knowledge of the historical/cultural/geographical/religious backgrounds to ALL the places we visited. We had an excellent driver in Mohammad.

Rebecca was the my first point of contact with the company. We exchanged a myriad of e-mails. She is a minefield of information and remained ever patient and helpful.

People have said and written that even weeks of touring and seeing Israel will not do justice to the cultural and historical richness of the place but it was just amazing how much the tour packed in, in the Israel leg of the Tour!

I am back home now, and reminiscing about how so many aspects of cultures thousands of years old in Israel & Jordan continue as if nothing has changed!
Opening the Bible and reading it has now taken on an extra special meaning for me.

A highly recommended Tour, (with an exceptional Tour Guide & very good accommodation), to all and especially to Bible-believing Christians. Can't wait to visit Israel again!

A pastor and I started researching how to take a group to Israel back in May 2016. We started 'blind' by first googling 'Christian tours in Israel'.

We had a quick response from ICT, more specifically Rebecca whom we found to be an excellent communicator.

Being our first trip, we 'took a guess' at most things: over a long summer of back and forth emails between Rebecca, the pastor and myself, we picked a date to avoid high holidays in Israel and to include our Labor Day so presumed travelers would use less vacation days.
The price dropped incrementally as we found more and more people signing on.

The price was 2/3 of what every single other group in America in our area pays. Perhaps 60%. We knew of at least 5 groups going at a much higher rate.

The pastor and I acted as the American agent, doing all the communication and travel arrangements (to get there only) and collecting of money. ICT did the whole tour once there including hotels, bus, guide and itinerary.

Rebecca was such a great emailer and communicator, we rarely waited long for any answer and she somehow never confused us with other groups she was working with.

If you are willing to avoid the 'middleman' and do the spreadsheet, insurance, airfare, money collection and passport information yourself, you can save a boatload of money and have a fabulous tour.

We ended up with many more than the 20 we hoped for: 46 people came...one bus load... the youngest 8 months, the oldest 80. I didn't want it to be too laid back: and it sure wasn't! We had sights and sounds packed in every day with a terrific guide who was encyclopedic in knowledge of everything in Israel including Bible verses and Scripture. We tweaked the itinerary several times, and always Rebecca was able to adjust easily.

The hotels were all great... four star I am told, ( we asked for 'Middle') with wonderful buffets each meal.

We had at least 15 'leaders' (in their home life) on the trip including lawyers, business leaders, 3 pastors, several nurses and a doctor, many retired folk and passports from three countries. Each person felt that, for a change, someone else was completely in charge and telling us what would happen next... a complete time of relaxation for people usually having to be the leader.

We walked up and down steps and saw ruins and historical places and of course locations from the Bible including the Garden Tomb and the Jordan River, two highlights. We put our toes (or bodies) in all four major bodies of water, swam in the Sea of Galilee after dinner, we had free time in the evening for the intrepid, and came away astonished.

Rebecca made a trip to our hotel to meet us in person capping off an extraordinary email relationship and she was all we pictured... professional, courteous and competent.

If your goal is a fabulous trip for much less cost, go with ICT. We were all astonished.

We arranged a week in Egypt and two weeks in Israel then 3 days in Jordon all through Rebecca at Israel Christian tours. We live in NZ and did it all via the internet. Everything went perfect and was all beyond our expectation. We made sure that we had spare days between each part with 3 extra nights in Jerusalem to ourselves. The rest of our time was spent in Singapore and Dubai.
We saved thousands of dollars by doing it this way. We went 4 star accommodation with breakfast and evening meals included. Buying hotel meals later is expensive. You have plenty of opportunity to eat out during the day. It is the people you meet on the tour that make it so enjoyable. Colin and Raewyn NZ
