Moti took my wife and I on two separate days. One to the North of Israel and the other around Bethlehem. He also set up a great tour of Jerusalem with his friend Yuri as he was not available that day. All pickups and transport were seamless and the vehicles provided nice luxury to escape the heat.
As Christians, we were interested in the Biblical places where Jesus lived, preached and died. Moti and Yuri not only delivered on getting us to the sights but also gave us an historical perspective of the many different groups that claimed and took the region by force and their motivations for doing so.
Also, they were very candid about the challenges facing the region today and we had some great discussions.
I would highly recommend Moti and Yuri if you are interested in learning about the region and covering a lot of ground quickly. The extra money is well worth not waiting around for everyone on the tour bus to disembark, assemble and reload.

Dear Stephen,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this great review. We are so happy that you enjoyed touring with us and that we met your expectations, among other things, regarding historical background of Christianity and modern Israel. Wishing you all a great tour in Europe.

This was my first tour of Israel with Moti, and I am having a difficult time finding the right words to describe the experience. First of all, next year will mark approximately 50 years of leading tours in Israel for him. This is not a younger man just getting started with a bunch of facts in his head, this is a man who HAS LIVED the history of Israel for the past 50 years. Don't get me wrong, he has all the facts too, (and more energy than myself at 36!), but all with a personal touch, a personal story, and a personal experience to go along with it. This is a man who has lost family members in the Holocaust. This is a man who served in the Israeli military. This is a man with a life experience in Israel that cannot be matched with book knowledge, and he brings it all to bear on your touring experience. Now, this lifelong experience that taught all of us on our tour the difficulties that the nation of Israel has had over the years, was only rivaled by the kind sense of humor with which it was tempered. Put simply, Moti is hilarious. In his own subtle way, he kept our entire bus laughing all day long. It truly was his most endearing quality. The tour was kept serious at the right times, somber at the right times, informational at the right times, and it was cut with humor at the right times. The result was a perfectly balanced trip; one where we did not walk away too loaded with facts or statistics or too somber given Israel's history, but rather we walked away smiling at the hope we can have for the future of Israel. Practically speaking, we felt very well taken care of. We knew Moti would handle any situation that could possibly arise. He and Alex our bus driver worked very well together and took tremendous care of us. My wife and I plan on taking another trip in two years and bringing others with us, and we simply will not come unless we are able to book Moti. We will schedule the trip around his schedule. If it is not obvious already, I could not recommend him any more highly.

Dear S&J,
Thank you for sharing your experience and thoughts.
When I welcomed you at the airport, I said ‘welcome home”. I was so happy to listen to Pastor Bob explaining along the tour that you actually came home to your Biblical roots.
It was my pleasure and privilege to guide your group of knowledgeable, educated, kind and friendly people of all ages who were so eager to learn, understand and feel the country: Understanding the past, feeling the present and being inspired for the future or in Pastor Bob’s words , the “yet to be”.
Warmest regards to all

My wife and her entire family went on a private tour of Israel mainly to see Biblical sites for the first time.
Our tour guide Moti was very flexible, informative and pleasant. Initially I wasn’t quite sure how the tour would work out since my wife and I are Protestants, and her family are Catholics. The tour was wonderful! Moti was able to mix things up well for all of us to see things of interest and enjoy the tour together. Moti answered many questions that our group had and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied.
The communication with our group was responsive and timely. The food recommendations were great, and the price of the tour was competitive and reasonable. There was flexibility with the itinerary, which allowed us to see and enjoy the things we really desired.
I would definitely recommend touring the Holy Land with Israel Private Tours!

My wife and I recently used Moti as a guide in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Moti provided us with expert guidance. His knowledge of history is excellent, and he gives an unbiased commentary.
One of the bonuses for us was Moti's ability to find excellent eateries, ie street food. Moti also provided us with ideas and contacts for our final few days in Jerusalem, allowing us to explore the city at our own pace.
I can also say that Moti is an excellent driver, with a nice airconditioned van. We would both recommend his services to anyone requiring an expert guide and driver in Israel.

Moti Kaufer met us at the Tel Aviv airport, masterfully maneuvered 30 elders through all the challenges presented and didn’t lose one of us! His patience was obvious throughout the trip. Every day we were well informed of the plans, the places we would visit and the rich history behind the sites. Moti’s knowledge of the factors that have influenced the Holy Land made a huge difference in what my husband and I were able to take home with us. He is a gracious guide that often gave way to our leaders that also had information to share. They were a seamless team.
One giant plus of being led by Moti is the way that he spoke to us in our "Whispers" at each stop. The pace and tone of his voice are easy to have in your ear for 13 days. That may not seem like a big deal, but believe me it is. I shared with Moti that when another guide led us for a few hours the difference was very evident. Moti’s voice is in my head and connected to my unforgettable Israel experience. He added so much meaning and background to our many locations. He made our trip one we will never forget and would hope to have him as our guide again.

I spent five days with Moti Kaufer and it was a spectacular experience discovering Israel. Moti is unique having several decades as a private guide. His personal life experiences, including the Holocaust, impacted everything we did. We spent five days and two nights together as he showed me an Israel I doubt I could have duplicated on my own. He is highly knowledgeable, articulate with great understandable English, and objective but even more importantly does not sugar coat the negative. No fluff and buff, just the facts. When you spend time with Moti you will know the real world. There are a lot of guides in Israel but in my judgment, few will give you the experience Moti provides. This may be my only trip to Israel and I picked the right guide. I cannot recommend anyone more highly. Moti was recommended to me by a Rabbi's wife who used him seventeen times. You won't regret sharing your travel with Moti.

Moti made this a trip of a lifetime filled with amazing experiences for all of us! ✝️✡️ He took us to only the best local restaurants, drove while we slept, let us sit in the shade while he taught us and found parking where it seemed impossible!
Moti's sense of humor and deep knowledge of the history and current state of Israel kept us engaged and learning the whole tour. He recommended things that we wouldn't have found on our own...in Jerusalem the tunnel tour, the Friday gathering of Christians, Moslems and Jews and incredible rooftop views of the city, a private boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, and watching thousands of cranes land in the Hula Valley at sunset. Family memories that we will always treasure.

Moti is a wonderful person with extensive knowledge about Israel. He understands the history and what is going on now in the country. He has a good sense of humor and adds a bit of laughter on certain subjects. His kindness is felt in the answering of every question. The passion he has for the country can be felt in the telling of the history. Our group was 35 people and he kept us all engaged. I am thankful our group chose Moti as our guide. I don't think I will think of Israel the same again. I highly recommend Moti to be your next guide!

I highly recommend Moti Kaufer of Israel Private Tours. Moti took our family for a weeklong tour, and it was a terrific experience.
Moti was born in Israel, so he knows the country in great detail. At the same time, his English is excellent, having gone to college in the United States. Moti's knowledge of Israel's history, spanning all three major religions, is extensive.
Moti's vehicle is large and very comfortable, easily seating our family of six, plus bags. An onboard refrigerator was especially welcome. I highly recommend Moti as a tour guide.

A group of us who've traveled to Israel multiple times decided to enjoy a relaxing (non-tour) visit this spring. We chose Moti because we knew from previous experience that it would be a great time with him as our guide. We spent a leisurely couple of days in Ein Bokek at the Dead Sea, traveled the scenic route to Mitzpe Ramon, relaxed for a couple of days at Eilat on the salty Red Sea, followed by beautiful Timna Park (don't miss the Tabernacle exhibit!). We finished our stay with balmy, blessed days in beautiful Jerusalem.
I knew Moti would share his knowledge of the Land with us, but with a group as small as four, it was especially important that our guide be amiable and fun, as well as, knowledgeable about the terrane, history, customs, etc. On the plane back home, we all agreed that we'd happily choose Moti to guide our next adventure, too!

Hi!
I am looking to booking a trip with my family for next year. It will be 8 of us.
We want to go to the main places Jerusalem, Dead Sea, Nazareth and etc. maybe even Jordan.
I wanted to know how I can get a quote and also if you have Spanish tour guides?
Lastly, my father has his leg amputated and wanted to know if you would have a wheelchair available?
