A story that reaches into your heart and soul.
May 2021
Having lived in Tel Aviv for 20 years, I thought I had been to most museums. But this gem of a museum is tucked away, not well known, and yet a place that shouldn't be missed. The story of Joseph Bau and his wife is an amazing one. It shows the strength and determination of our people as exemplified by this man. The story, told by Joseph's daughter with such admiration and love, is one which you will not forget. Instead you will want to read his books, look at his paintings and learn more about this wonderful man.

A recommended visit
May 2021
A very special place with a unique story that intertwines the Holocaust, an incredible love story of Joseph Bau and his wife, and the history of the State of Israel. Definitely worth a visit. It is run by the two Bau daughters. During a visit, one of the daughters tells the amazing story of their parents, a story that was not known about until relatively recently.

Very special place telling the story of Shoa , state of Israel, Mossad, animation

An anthropological experience of the two daughters of Joseph Bau, a creative man, one of the fathers of graphic design in Israel, a Holocaust survivor with an extraordinary life story. The sisters keep the place and the amazing story they keep alive is worth a visit. Ask questions and note that the story is not over.

Great place of first Israeli animator with a secret life in the mossad. From his Life in Krakov and surviving the holocaust thanks to his typographical skills to being saved in Schindlers list and coming to Israel and defining the new hebrew graphical style. Fascinating place!
