Masada and the Dead Sea Day Trip from Tel Aviv

741 reviews
Combine visits to the Dead Sea and Masada on this full-day trip from Tel Aviv, a great way to tick off more attractions in less time. Eliminate the hassle of car hire and travel in an air-conditioned coach instead. During at stop at Masada, your guide provides information crucial to understanding the landmark. Back at sea level, float in the salty Dead Sea, where you can book therapeutic treatments (own expense).

The best ethnic shop in Tel Aviv.:) here you can explore and find a refined selection of rare pieces of arts and craftsmanship from the passionate searches, adventures and distant travels of Doreen, Eduardo and friends to unknown corners of the world... Each detail brings back intricate stories of secret appreciation, with attentive eye and empathy, of disappearing arts and artifacts... Don't miss this experience if you happen to be in Tel Aviv...you'll love it!

As avid collectors, Dervish was a natural place to visit during our stay in Tel Aviv. Nothing quite prepared us for just how wondrous it actually was. The shop is packed full of delights from all corners of the world, particularly Asia. We bought 2 antique puppets from Java. As well as textiles, artifacts, ceramics and all manner of objects, there is a lot of gorgeous jewelry, some of which has been made by Doreen, the shop’s proprietor and it’s real gem. It was such a pleasure to meet her, and hear of her journeys to places far and wide. Hopefully you will be lucky enough to meet her too. Dervish has joined the ranks of our favorite shops around the world.

This is a very unique store run by a lady (and I think) her son. She was very sweet and a pleasure to visit with. She travels the globe finding things for this store and they also craft some things as well. Don’t waste your time on the high pressure Main Street vendors. If you are looking for something unique, personal, high quality with a story behind each piece this is a great store. I have posted a picture of the exterior as well as a couple of interior shots, but it is just a little of all the neat things they have. If you are in Tel Aviv looking for something to take home this is the place.
