We had a terrific half day tour with Yana today and, like all the other reviewers, we were blown away by her intimate knowledge of Jerusalem. She makes it personal. But additionally, I woke up not feeling well and Yana was sensitive to my wish to go ahead with the tour while, at the same time, keeping in touch with how I was doing as we went.

Yana goes beneath the surface, not just telling the basic info (although she does that, of course) but adding stories and history that makes the trip come alive. She brought a binder with more in-depth photos that enriched each stop of the tour.

If you're looking for a tour guide in Jerusalem, Yana's a sure bet!

Yana knowledge, sense of humour and enthusiasm make her THE tour guide to book when in Jerusalem. She knows the ins and outs of the convoluted city and the colourful locals. Yana is so engaging that you feel like you want to sit down to dinner with her as well. We booked a special Roman history tour and Yana was so diligent weaving the Roman history into the narrative of events that impacted Jerusalem history. Thank you so much again for the amazing day!

Yana was a great guide and helped me to discover some really authentic and interesting spots. I especially loved her take on the street art in Jerusalem and she gave me some great recommendations of cool bars and nightlife spots to visit after the tour, too. Would definitely recommend and plan to take a foodie tour with Yana again in the future!

Travelling in Jerusalem in september last year, my wife and I booked a tour with Yana for 1 day and a half. The experience with her was exactly what I needed. She not only knows to tell you about the places and the history, but also introduces you into religion, she is making you to ask yourself questions, she is answering them and offers you a faaaar more interesting approach than anything that, maybe me, experienced before.
On top of that, she knows people. She knows the locals. And she connects with you, somehow introducing you to a different world than your eyes can see.
Thank you Yana one more time!

Street art and street food are two of the most fascinating aspects of any city, and Yana is the perfect person to introduce both to you in Jerusalem! She is a knowledgeable guide, a passionate advocate of art, a humorous conversationalist, and a gifted storyteller.
You will definitely be blessed and grow by spending a day or afternoon on one of her tours.

Jerusalem is an amazing city and no matter how long you're there for it's never enough. I was there for almost 8 days and still wish I had more time.

After having my fill of 2000 years of history, I wanted to see a bit of what made modern Jerusalem. I found Authentic Tours' Secret and Legends of Jerusalem City Center. Even their tour of Mea Shearim and Nachalot looked very interesting, to be able to really immerse yourself in the local culture and people but I guess I'll have to go back for it.

Yana took us to a lot of hidden spots bang in the center of the city, spots I'd walked passed many times without really paying attention. She took us through Russian and Ethiopian neighborhoods, hidden gardens, graffiti walls and some delicious hole-in-the-wall eateries that have existed for decades. She knew stories about every nook and corner. There is nothing like seeing a city through the eyes of someone local, someone as passionate about their city as Yana is.

Its a great break to see a different side of the city.

The tour guide alone makes this a worthwhile tour! Yana is stuffed full of information about Jerusalem and knows all the little secret spots that other tours don't cover and I did quite a few during no my time there.

Passion for home shines through and it really makes the tour so much more interesting.

I had been in Jerusalem for two weeks before doing the tour with Yana and I learnt about some important historical landmarks that I had passed without knowing. The tour is very diverse in content as you get to see some hidden street art, history and great food recommendations.

I highly recommend spending some time with Yana when you're in Jerusalem.

We were lucky enough to get a tour with only 4 people and found it extremely informative and enjoyable. Yana is very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining and provided lots of information that I did not have from my previous unguided walk through the old city.
