Eli was an excellent tour guide for the ten days we traveled with him in Israel, and we enjoyed the friendly and informative environment he created. He is knowledgeable about the historical sites, but also shared some beautiful and special spots in nature as well. He was helpful in establishing a realistic itinerary, and was flexible and receptive to making a few adjustments along the way based on what we most wanted to see and what our interests were. We managed to travel the full length of the country during our trip, and he helped us really make the most of our time there. He was always on time and accommodating throughout – at one point going above and beyond to help us locate a hard-to-find pharmacy item. I recommend him highly. Bonnie Billingsley

I dealt with Sivan of Tzur Tours for about 8 months. She planned a tailored private tour for our group. We were beyond excited and her professionalism, guidance, patience with changing things, and suggestions created the vacation of our dreams. Three days before we were to leave to Israel the war started. We were packed and everything was fully paid.

I could not believe that on that October 8 at 10:am, local time, when there was complete chaos in Israel and shock around the world, when no one understood the scope of what had happened, I get a call from Sivan to let me know that I could cancel or reschedule my trip. I was floored. I had not called or contacted anyone in the company out of respect for the terror they were going through and here she was concerned about me and my family.

Needless to say this company is a 10/10. Even our tour guide reached out to me. I was reimbursed all our group's money, except a reasonable fee for services rendered such as the planning our private groups itinerary, all without the need to plead or negotiate. They followed up with me.

I looked at several companies before choosing Tzur Tours. From the start they were a distance apart from others in how detailed their estimate and preliminary itinerary was. Everything was laid out clearly in writing. They also listened to what we wanted and advised us accordingly, explained what days were best to fly, were to stay, lots of logistics, things I did not know even though I had read tour books on Israel. Sivan even contacted me to recommend a change to the itinerary two weeks before our trip due to some hostilities in an area we had planned to visit.

Of course I cannot review the tour but as far as the planning services, and pricing I can tell you from my experience the company is completely professional, and ethical.

Tzur Tours knows that Israel is not just a destination but an experience. Book with confidence that they will guide you correctly, look out for your safety, and that your money is secure with them.

I have recently returned from Touring Israel in November 2019..My reason for the visit was to bless my sister Sharon with a trip to the Holy Land as it was her 70 birthday present. Our whole journey through Israel was inspiring and exciting. We visited any sites such as Old Jerusalem, Western Wall, Golan heights, Masada Sea of Galilee , Qumrun and the Dead Sea to name a few. We enjoyed them all tremendously.
The reason for this was owing to the fact that we had engaged the services of a brilliant and passionate tour guide named Eli Tzur.
Eli's warm and friendly disposition coupled with his inexhaustible knowledge of his beloved homeland was intoxicating and we both felt like we had arrived home in God's own country.
Every place we visited he elaborately explained with enthusiasm its history and the events that took place there.
We were just so hungry to hear more.
His courteous and considerate manner was inviting and we developed a real bond of friendship throughout the tour.
Nothing was too much trouble for him and he catered well to our needs.
The tour was the best I have ever been on and I congratulate Eli on his performance as a guide.
He is a true Ambassador for his country.
We will certainly be visiting Israel again and will definitely enlist the services of Tzur tours.
Blessings
Noel

One of my best experiences in Israel was this solo tour to the ancient city of Beit She'an. It's an extraordinarily well preserved place in Northern Israel, not as visited as the other Roman times jewel, Cesarea Maritima. It's actually older, it was known as Scythopolis in the Hellenistic era, and it has more buildings, all of them incredibly maintained. The tour from Tel Aviv was a dream, across valleys and hills, and all this trip gets much better when the guide is someone with so much historic information as Eli. Also so talktive and attentive as he is. I work in the tourism business, in Miami, so I can tell when a person is good at a profession like this. Eli is perfect, especially if you love Israel, because he knows everything about this marvelous country.

Tzur Tours exceeded all our expectations and were simply responsive, honest, cost effective and knowledgeable. Our guide Lior was exceptional and extremely well prepared, timely and adjusted to our needs during our tour. I can honestly say that anyone considering working with Tzur Tours can do so with trust and confidence knowing that the company will provide a tour that will be fantastic. I was lucky to have found them and I would certainly recommend them to anyone interested and I will use them again in the future.

We highly; recommend Tzur tours for any visit to Israel. Eli of Tzur tours met the challenge of providing a private tour for a Christian couple visiting Israel for the first time with Jewish friends who had made multiple trips over many years. Eli helped plan an individualized itinerary. After spending time together, Eli listened to our interests and made suggestions which further enhanced our visit. We visited the Western Wall and marveled at the beauty of the Hurva Synagogue. What an experience to then walk under the square in front of the synagogue to view the excavation of a High Priest's home destroyed in 70AD. The view of the Sea of Galilee from the Golan Hts was a highlight for everyone. The visit to Magdala, a first century synagogue only discovered in 2011, was added at the last minute and was incredibly meaningful. Eli was knowledgeable, flexible and fun to engage. He did keep us moving and learning. We spent three full days with Eli touring. It was a memorable trip and we feel we have a new friend in Israel. We hope to return and would definitely use Tzur tours again.

I highly recommend Eli for touring Israel. I've been in Israel more than 10 times and had only done "Group Bus Tours" previously. In addition to recommending Eli, I definitely recommend finding some friends and doing a private tour. We picked out the sights we wanted to see and told him we had 5 days to work with. We saw the famous sites as well as some off of the beaten path. If you let him know what your interest is, he will not disappoint. He is also very knowledgeable and adds another dimension. I went to Caesarea for the third time and learned many new things! We had up to 13 people depending on the day with varying levels of energy and Eli made it all work. We made a hotel in Ramat Gan (Kfar Maccabiah) our home base and left every day from there with Eli. Our driver was "Shabby" who I also definitely recommend.

We worked with Eli for 4 days in April/May 2022 - 2 days in Northern Israel, then individual day trips in Jerusalem touring the Old City and at Masada/Dead Sea/Ein Gedi. Eli crafted outstanding itineraries for each, and every day was fascinating. He was flexible and able to adapt to some unforeseen mobility issues to the extent possible, allowing each person to have the best experience.

Despite the variety of locations and the wide range of focus (history from ancient to modern, archaeology, nature, politics), Eli is deeply knowledgeable across the board. No matter what I asked - and it was a lot - he had the answer.

Eli is quite personable as well, great to work with, and rates a very easy 5*. He’s not inexpensive, but no private guide of his quality is and the value is outstanding. Highly recommended!

This is my 20th time to visit Israel, and I have been showing people around for all 20 occasions. And we have come to some of my favourite spots again on this tour.

I want to thank Heftsi for being humble enough to allow me to chime in on some subjects and to teach our group along with her teachings at each place we stopped at. She brought an orthodox perspective to our group that was very much needed and was very much blessed by. Our group who wear tzit tsit and know the scripture, keep the Sabbath and Holy Days and eat kosher and are not Jewish, were new to her. I hope we did not offend her in any of our comments or questions.
She was perfect for our tour.

I want to thank you and Heftsi for blessing us with the teachings she did and I would recommend Tzur Tours and Heftsi again to anyone. Thank you. Our tour is now coming to an end and everyone I have spoken to is thrilled at all we have seen and done, and of which Heftsi was a blessing to us. Thank you very much.

Our party of 8 had a wonderful tour with Eli around Jerusalem. He was extremely knowledgable and we learned a lot of history and archeology and really enjoyed our day, from Mount of Olives to the place of the last supper. Highlights included touching the stone where the cross stood in the Church of the holy Sepulchre, the tunnels that go under the city, dating back to Herod and seeing the enormous wallsthat have endured for so long despite many invasions and attempts to knock them down. Thousands of different people of various faiths still live within this ancient city and we feel priviledged to have experienced the atmosphere and spirit of this amazing place
