Took a three hour tasting tour…..our guide was Daniella and she was great. She set the vibe with a welcome drink Arak and we just flowed from there…The places we visited and the history lesson were like being in heaven. Our next trip we need to do something more adventurous like a cooking day in the market…..Can’t wait….

We had a wonderful tour with Reuven in the Machne Yehuda Shuk (market). Heard from him stories from the history of the place, how it was started, the families that created it and the food scene it turned to in the past 25 years. We got to taste authentic and gourmet tastings from different stores in the shuk. Had a wonderful afternoon with my colleagues.

An amazing tour in Mahneh Yehuda market! I've been there several times but not with a guided tour. Asia was full of knowledge, love to the place & her work. She kept all listening - kids & us alike. Not an easy task at August... Many thanks and see you soon on another tour

The market itself is a wonderful place to explore on your own. We purchased the "Shuk Bites"
ticket based on the great reviews from this site. Be aware that the tastings can change from what is listed on their website. That was the case with our tour. We ended up getting tastings such as a
Hamburger and an ice cream. The other tastings were good but not worth the price of the ticket.
You will do better exploring and tasting on your own!

Great experience! Took my in laws for a DIY tour of the market place. I really wanted them to experience the delicious sounds, friendly people and exciting places deep in the Shuk. The Shuk Bites tasting tour was perfect! Gave us a route to follow, delicious options to taste, and plenty of shop keepers to talk with. Spent hours in the end having a blast - and getting really full from the samples included in the cost! Highly recommended for visitors and locals alike.

I booked only one bite card for two people, and it proved that the food was totally enough for 2 girls.
I had traveled to Machne Yehuda for a few times but this bite card tour still offered me surprise and led me to some great excellent restaurants I hadn't been.
Totally recommend the kubba, the burger and the juice. They were the ultimate relief of the busy travelling day in Jerusalem.

This irreverent culinary tour, is a must do, must see, must experience!
Our guide Shuki introduced us to mouth savoring delicacies, and served up equally delightful portions of stories, anecdotes and history.
I only have one regret, I wish I had two stomachs!

Colors, smells and lots of flavor. True Essence of the city outside the walls. Much more clean and friendly for tourists than the Carmel Market in Tel Aviv. Things you will not find anywhere else like Millstone Tahini and oriental spices. All fresh and top quality. In recent years number of small and cozy pubs opened, with Israeli boutique beers, which gives the market a combination of old and new. The restaurants around the Market are the best food you will eat in Jerusalem without spending a lot of money
