Gil was a guide on our recent trip through Israel. We had a group of about 50 people on our bus and Gil was with us every step of the way. He shared so much information about Israel and its history, as well as the Jewish culture. He kept us moving and informed all along the way in a very packed itinerary over the course of 10 days and 3 different hotels. I was amazed at the amount of knowledge he has and his easy way of sharing it. Would definitely recommend Gil for any future trips!

Gil was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does and about going the extra mile. I was on an 8-day tour with a group, and Gil was with us basically the entire time. Loved his sense of humor. Very approachable. Provided tons of knowledge into the current local culture as well. Gil definitely exhibited mastery when it came to keeping the "herd" moving (over 100 people) and worked very well with the rest of the tour team. Two-thumbs up for sure!

Our group was made up of 3 couples who have known each other for years and waited through the COVID pandemic to finally take our trip. By the way, Gil was very flexible in refunding deposits and patiently waiting for us to be able to travel. We were seeking an in-depth Biblical and historical tour of Israel and Jordan. Gil delivered like the professional he truly is. There cannot be a better guide for this type of trip. His Biblical knowledge exceeds most of the pastors I know back home. Importantly, Gil has the ability to use original Hebrew language to interpret Bible passages, which gives a whole new perspective to our customary Greek translations. Our trip was a total of 15 days in length, and I believe we saw everything and experienced everything. Gil had it all well organized from the VIP meet at the door of our jet and escort through immigration to a luxurious Mercedes bus to travel in. We had a private driver, Gil as our guide (except in Nazareth and Jordan where we also had a local guide), and the 6 of us with plenty of room to spread out. This made the travel comfortable. At each site Gil would open and read a pertinent Bible verse and apply it to what we were seeing. Our tour included Baptism in the Jordan River and communion at the Garden Tomb. Gil arranged the times of our visits to avoid the busiest times and thus avoid the crowds and lines wherever possible. All hotels were included, as were some meals and all admissions to sites. I would not only highly recommend Gil as a tour guide for this trip, I will tell everyone not to consider anyone else. Many of our days were long, but looking back on it, we certainly got value out of our investment in this trip. Jerusalem is the highlight of this trip, but I cannot understate that Petra was much more than I expected. We were spiritually rewarded and intellectually challenged in this experience. I can also say that when the tour ended, we had all bonded with Gil and formed relationships that will endure. On our last day, as we stood atop Mount Nebo where Moses died, looking out at what was his view of the promised land, we felt fortunate to have been able to cross over the Jordan and unpack both the Old and New Testaments.

Gil is a fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable guide with an engaging personality. His ability to provide both ancient and modern context for everything we saw in Israel was truly impressive. Would recommend for anyone looking for an expert guide who loves his work and communicates with humor and passion!

We were part of a group of 6 that hired Gil Regev in April/May 2022, as our guide for 14 days in Israel and Jordan. It is not an understatement to say that Gil’s expertise as a guide made our trip a once in a lifetime experience in every way. His knowledge of ancient and modern Israel history, biblical studies, logistics of travel, hospitality, restaurants, and more was exceptional. Gil is smart, organized, and very personable. His tours were informative without being boring, his recommendations for our hotels (boutique) and restaurants were phenomenal. Gil is experienced and passionate about his craft, to lead the best tour possible for his guests. Every place we went Gil knew the people and they knew him. Owners and managers of hotels, restaurants, historical sites. We felt safe at all times, we learned so much that our brains were bursting, we had fun, and when finally parted ways at the end of the trip it was hard to leave because Gil had become our friend. We cannot recommend Gil Regev more highly.

This was my second trip with Gil (first was on my honeymoon more than a decade ago, and we kept in touch since, as he was such a stand out part of our trip all that time ago), and he delivered an outstanding experience yet again!

If you are in Israel, and looking to get an in depth, mind blowing, historical, biblical, balanced multi viewpoint, super intelligent and good humoured tour of anywhere in the country that brings anything you are looking at/ touching/ smelling/ tasting to life for you, then do not miss out on the once in a lifetime experience that is Gil Regev.

It is an absolute privilege to be guided by him. He can make even the most simple looking ‘rock’ come to life with his incredible knowledge of every context leading to it… and he’ll having you having fun and laughing every step of the way too!

This trip he took a friend and I on an amazing trip around Caesarea (hiking, historical palace and city tour, plus beach) followed by lunch and afternoon at a beautiful winery, and it was by far the highlight of our holiday!

Gil - thank you. We can’t wait to return with our whole families for an extra fun ‘Brady bunch’ tour next time!

Gil Regev helped guide our tour with 45 members of a church from Charlotte,NC in Israel. He did an excellent job!!! He knows the history, politics, geography and Biblical sites of Israel very well, plus he carefully kept us on track when our thoughts or feet were tending to wander. Each day's itinerary was carefully planned so that there were no missed activities and we did not have to "rush" to get to the next site.
I would very highly recommend Gil to assist with guiding a future trip that you may be considering.

We just finished our 10-day trip in Israel. We were so lucky to have Gil as our Israeli guide. He is knowledgeable, funny, articulate, detailed, thoughtful, organized... and definitely got charisma! What we also appreciate is his non-biased view toward religion, culture and politics. We wish we can spend more time with him to learn more about Israel.

Earlier this year we were in touch with Gil to discuss a 12 night private trip to Israel. His approach & proposal was very professional, to the point & courteous. We ended up not using his services as private tours are generally more expensive & chose a small group tour. Since then, I have had some questions relative to Jordan tours/ border crossings & he has been prompt & responsive despite us not choosing his private tour. While I can’t speak to the tour itself, my interaction with him makes me very confident we would have been very satisfied f my wallet had allowed me to sign up for his tour! We have traveled extensively throughout the world on private & small group tours. The guide makes all the difference!

Gil took our church group which totaled 108 of us on the most fantastic Israel tour that lasted 10 days. He is very knowledgeable, informative, funny and a wonderful caring person. You can tell he loves what he does and it shows through his expertise. I consider him a close friend. I would without doubt book another tour with him again!
