We have been to Israel and the shuk numerous times, but never on a tour. Rishona was terrific at teaching us so many new things and catering to the different age groups and interests (15-81). Not only did she teach us about the history of the shuk both with stories and pictures (and of course yummy tastings) , but she also showed us some hidden gems we had never seen before. It was great to see the shuk in a whole new light. Highly recommend Rishona's tour.

One Fine Land is a sole person operation led by Rishona. Having her as a guide, rather than someone from a bigger operation, made for a very 'human' and non-commercial interaction, which we appreciated. It allowed us to learn more about living as an Israeli, and made it more comfortable to spend so many hours together. We were impressed with Rishona's deep knowledge of Jewish and Israeli history. She had a natural ability to draw out the key learning/message from each experience, and tie it to the bigger theme of the essence of Israel's existence. Overall it was a great itinerary. We felt we did all of the 'must sees' and complemented that with some unique experiences we may not have otherwise done, including the bullet factory and very authentic lunch experiences at the homes of two different women: one Moroccan woman in a small village; and another Arabic woman in the Old City. These experiences gave us a non-tourist view into how different people live in Israel...and some yummy, authentic food. We very much enjoyed Rishona's company. Because there is so much to do in Israel, I would suggest spending time up front with Rishona to explore a number of alternative itineraries so you get to experience things best suited to you and your family.

My mother and I spent a day with Rishona and visited Ein Gedi, Masada and the Dead Sea. Rishona was so knowledgeable and gave us such a beautiful day and tour. I would highly recommend her in the future. You won't regret it! She is a wealth of information.

We started the tour at the market and were greeted by our guide with the tastiest treats and coffee. After exploring the market for a bit, we went to the Old City and saw all the major sights such as the Muslim and Christian quarters, the Western Wall, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. We ended our tour with a lovely lunch in a local lady's courtyard. It was a fun, relaxed, and informative tour. Everything was well planned and our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Fun and Yum and full of juicy tidbits of Israeli culture and history in addition to the tasting menu of some of the most colorful places in Machne Yehuda. Rishona is a first-class tour guide with an unparalleled knack for storytelling that engages grown ups and teens. Our kids who have been blessed to visit Israel several times already said taht this was the best day ever!
