Generally an interesting visit, not a lot of space and obviously separated for women and men. Also Kippahs are available at the entrance. Would recommend for the religiously interested people only as otherwise, the place fills up fast and personally I feel like I would annoy the people praying there. The people there were exceptionally friendly which made it a very nice experience.

If you are going to be in the area you might as well go and view this. However, archeologists do not believe that this is the actual tomb. There were people in the room praying and nodding while we were there. You need to be careful not to disturb them. It is sort of sad to see so many people thinking that prayer in a specific place is more efficacious than some other place.

This is the real deal and was a truly outstanding experience. To think that this stood the test of time is astounding. Brick by brick, laid hand by hand, it takes you all the back to the beginnings of history. Again our guide could talk for hours from his knowledge and think it's the best way to enjoy this monument.

Located in the old city of Jerusalem, nearby AlAqsa Mosque compound. Very long and interesting history. 1000s of tourists of all faith come to pay respect and offer prayers. Its the only place in the World where Muslims, Christians and Jews come under 1 roof to offers prayers to 1 man. King David or Prophet Daud Allahisallam for the muslims. The room where the tomb is kept is small , so tourists by each faith take turn to enter and offer prayers.

Not as solemn and peaceful a place as I would have expected. During my visit, in the prayer/reading room adjacent to the room where the tomb lay, one of the greeters began signing and dancing with one of the foreign visitors.
There are separate rooms for male and female visitors. I don’t know the difference, as I went to the room marked for MEN.

If you are visiting the room of the Last Supper then a slight detour in the same building will take you to King David's Tomb - or at least this is how it is described. It is quiet and not well signposted. It was empty when I looked in to the small room and the curator had disappeared temporarily. A sort of weird place that has serious significance for some religions.

King David's Tomb is on the ground level of the building on Mt Zion. There are separate entries for men and women. Given its proximity to the Room of the Last Supper, many Christians also take the opportunity to view King David's Tomb. The casket is draped with a velvet covering. King David was a warrior king; he is a hero to the Jewish people. Many religious Jews pray here, please remember that it is a sacred place.

Bit of a tourist trap. Last supper room full of bus tourists. King David’s tomb women and men are separated for viewing due to Orthodox Church rules. Not much to see. Overrated.

this is a holy place for the jewish people- you can access the tomb behind the dormition church. there is a separation between boys and girls, and only boys can feeely access the tomb. this a place of prayer- and a feeling of holiness surrounds it.

This area of Mount Zion is interesting to explore (see the bathroom area too!), King David's tomb has separate entrances for men and women, and is sometimes crowded, like when we visited in November 2022. This is probably NOT the real location of David's tomb, but this Mount Zion (and the nearby Last Supper Room) is worth a trip for serious religious people.
