Used now as a hotel the bell tower of this building has a fabulous view of the city at a 360 degree circle. You can walk up or take the elevator 5 stories up. Just wear warm clothes, it's very windy and cold in the winter months, and just windy the rest of the year.

This is directly across from the King David Hotel. From the outside, you would never think this was a YMCA. When you go inside, it's unbelievable. The lobby and reception areas are beautiful and well maintained. We had dinner there and were pleased with a reasonable and tasty meal. Don't miss it!

In the midst of the wave of terrorism we are suffering from in Israel, we were thrillled to be at the YMCA. The building is magnificent, the restaurant lovely and the atmosphere truly one of mutual understanding and tolerance, Jews and Arabs sitting together, working together and showing the world how it could actually happen.

Has a great light music concert, a beautiful place in the middle of the city. If you have the time and there is an evening performance - it is woth a shot.

For a delicious, colorful and economical lunch in exquisite surroundings look no further than the charming terrace restaurant at the Jerusalem YMCA. It's located directly across the street from internationally renowned King David Hotel where you can stroll the long corridor enjoying the autographs of the rich and famous tiled into the floor (before or after your meal at the... I passed by a couple of times and marveled at the beauty of the architecture. Surely, it is the nicest YMCA in the world. I did not go inside.

This is a historic building and part of the landscape of Jerusalem. If you have time, you should take the elevator (small fee) to the top for some outstanding views and great photo ops.
