A tour of the "upper city" of Jerusalem- in the depths of the earth... The luxurious neighborhood of the rich priests of Jerusalem in the Second Temple period has become an amazing museum and the country's largest indoor archaeological site. The site includes the oldest etching of the Temple menorah, ashes of the burning city from the year 70, ritual baths, spectacular mosaic floors, murals, holy and household vessels, and more. You can take an audio guide in these languages: Hebrew, English, French, and Russian- for an additional 5 NIS per person.

The visual aspects of this museum are amazing. It has put everything into prospective for me. Admission price is reasonable and I would recommend purchasing the audio to get the max out of your visit. Easy to find

The Wohl Museum or Archeology is absolutely wonderful! The excavations are really amazing and so wonderfully maintained and displayed. The only "negative" was the very loudly spoken group tour guide who we had to ask to speak a little more quietly so that we could...More
