There is a great new attraction near the tunnel tour section where there is a 3D view of the Temple. Great for children

Always when I visit Jerusalem, I feel something strange in my chest. It is really spiritual city and western wall is a heart of it. It is a survived part of the great Jewish Temple, where thousands years Jewish people pray and worship the God. Western wall is a place today were they coming on their celebrations and sad days... On the day there were numerous Bar Mitzvahs underway and the joy and happiness emanating from all the families was amazing. Males can approach... More

This is a once in a life time experience one doesn't want to miss. An hour or so before the Sabbath starts the Western Wall Plaza is teeming with (orthodox) Jews and many visitors. The singing is awesome and it is so nice to see them dancing welcoming the Sabbath. A must when you visit Jerusalem.

Everyone getting in Israel must live this experience. I've never feel such a place with so much history. I really feel at human root (in old Jerusalem generally ) Each stone of this wall has seen so much stories. Absolutely amazing!

Bring your prayers and keep them handy too- there is a place where you get as close to the foundation stone as is possible - women pray away from men so have... More
