I was struck by the beautiful Church of Saint Mary Magdalene. It is good to make a walk to this place and you will be filled with the same love of Mary of Magdala.

This church which has much historical and religious significance but is nice to see more from the outside than the inside. It is only open for a few hours twice a week to non-Russian visitors.

Attention-getting architecture. I found the entry gate...."the green door." I was not allowed to enter because I am not Orthodox. Be sure to snap a photo of the beautiful golden domes.

This church is in the Mount of Olives and is very beautiful , It was not opened when we were there, as it is only a couple of days per week. You get great views of the old city from there.
