It's like a huge park - a lot of place to walk and lot of air to breath. The best time for visiting - Saturday afternoon at November or March: you don't have a lot of visitors around.

Turns out that March is a great time to find the residents waking up. Rather than huddling against the cold or sprawled out in the shade against the heat. As trees bud and winter flowers bloom so too it seems the zoo cones alive. Worth planning a visit during this season.

Loved having a whole day at Jersualem Zoo. Very impressed with the whole set up. Great animal enclosures and many interesting species which I had not seen before. Reasonable price too for the whole day. Plenty of picnic places and a good cafe too. Highly recommended.

There are hundreds of animals at the Jerusalem Bibl;ical Zoo. You need multiple visits to see all the exhibits. The animals are in natural setting enclosures. It is a wonderful zoo for children and adults. There is a full size Noah's ark.
