This magnificent church, cared for by the White Fathers and a group of nuns, can turn a bad voice into a lovely voice. Tour groups come here to sign their favorite hymns. "Amazing Grace" is most popular! What's significant is that this property houses one of the best attested sites in Jerusalem -- the excavation shows you the place where... More

We were immediately surrounded with the voices of a great choir. Actually it was just a tour group, but the sound was amazing! Each group took it's turn. We all had fun joining our voices with the echos that bounced off the walls! WOW!!!

Be sure to visit and to have your group sing a hymn or two, and appreciate the incredible acoustics in this building.

We visited St Anne's Church during our pilgrimage along the Via Dolorosa! Other pilgrims were singing wonderful modern Christian Songs which were most uplifting. The most extraordinary moving spectacle was seeing a flock of 7 doves continuously flying around the nearby Pools of Bethesda where Christ healed a lame man that is recorded in the Holy Bible!

I'm not much for visiting all the churches but this one really is worth going to see! This is a great place to bring a couple of songs with your group and sing! You'll be amazed at the angelic sounds coming from your group!! Amazing architecture!

An illuminating tour with a real 'mavin' on Christian holy sites that helped to clarify aspects of the new exhibition on Jesus in Israeli Art. But the real treat was St.Anne's Church and the haunting singing of pilgrims under the cupola. Not to be missed! and that's not mentioning the archeology. Beautiful site.

We got to hear groups from Korea, Ukraine, and Texas sing different worship songs here. It was lovely! The old church which was built in the pool of Bethesda (outside the church) was neat to see as well.

Each Church in the Old City has something Special. You must find time to visit each one. Very close to the Way of the Cross.

A gorgeous church not far from the Temple Mount/Dome of the Rock. Its simplicity is truly stunning. And you are welcome to sing in the sanctuary to hear the acoustics. Honestly it sounds like an Angel Choir when people sing together at St. Anne's!

I was at the Church of Saint Anne as part of a tour group of Israel. One of our leaders was a professional violin player, and he played Via Dolorosa inside of the church. The acoustics were unbelievable. It brought me to tears and was a trip highlight!
