I can't really say I "liked" Yad vashem. The museum is very tastefully done. It does a fantastic job explaining & expounding on what the evil nazis and their cohorts did to our people. Even though I knew most of it from growing up in Jewish 1970s Brooklyn, there is something different about experiencing it in Israel, the only real... More

The design of the memorial remembers and respects not only the lives lost, but also those who protected others during the Holocaust at the risk of their own life. The exhibit points out the stark evil of the Nazi regime and the beauty of the people lost. The poignant recalling of this terrible time brings the visitor through broad stream... More

We only had 2 hours which was a shame. The way they redid the tour is amazing. Gradually captures you from one bridge to another, until you can't let go. Make sure you dedicate at least 4 to 6 hours. It's an experience unlike any other. Do not bring kids younger than 12-ish

Very emotional done very well with many photos and displays. A learning experience where one can learn the damage that pure hate is shown to kill! The question of why and how did this happen and also the bad and the righteous!

It's amazingly complete, and very well presented. But you need a lot of time to really go through the Museum and take in everything. A really sobering and thoughtful place.

This place is an absolute must see. It is a beautiful and tragic capture of the Holocaust. Everyone, Jewish or not should visit, should this never happen again. If you don't feel emotions here your not human. So glad we went, not a dry eye in the end.

Visiting the Holocause Memorial is likely to be something that you will never forget! With all the discussions going on right now in society we need to remember the autrocities of the nazis and here the memory is kept alive. Your eyes will be wet when leaving the memorial, but in a strange way there was also a feeling of... More

A must see. The most moving and comprehensive holocaust museum I've seen. Somber atmosphere, clear displays, and great architecture / design.
