I don't think King David had anything to do with the place but this is still a very nice exemple of military architecture from post crusaders period, until Ottomans. The museum is full of interesting artifact and the walking around the walls on a good...More

David, our English-speaking guide was excellent in explaining the history of the city from geographical, political, religious, cultural aspects. The view of the Old City and the Mount of Olives in the background is breathtaking.

A wonderful crash course of the history of Jerusalem dating back to its beginning. Recommend paying the small amount for the audio is it direct to your right order of However the summary on the walls are adequate as well

Exceptional ruins steeped in history. The museum aspect is really good too; informative and easy to follow in a logical path detailing the history of the place and Jerusalem at large. Very reasonably priced and staff were friendly on arrival and throughout.

As well as climbing the battlements, you visit a range of rooms covering the different eras of the city - good explanations helped me make sense of it all.

We went to the light show at the Museum and it was much better than I expected. I didn't think that it would be that much of a deal so I didn't bring the camera. Big mistake. The show lasted maybe 45 minutes but it...More
