Although highly doubtful for authenticity due to construction style of the tomb, it is a calm in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Jerusalem. Relax and enjoy the peace, it is worth it.

An intriguing site in Estern Jerusalem, close to Damascus gate, where in the past the protestants suggested to locate the crucifixion site of Jesus. Today the site functions as a place of Christian veneration of the memory of the passion of Jesus. The garden area...More

Recent trip to Jerusalem and we decided to take the walk from the old city to the Garden Tomb. Takes about 10 minutes from Damascus gate to the tomb and free entry so worth visiting.

Religious or not...it's beautiful. Take a stop in! There's a lot of meaning and possible questions that arise when you do. Make your way and give it a shot.

Set aside the dispute on where Jesus was buried... This is a charming, very peaceful place, extremely well kept and has an authentic 1st century tomb. The gift shop has some lovely things in it, and some I didn't fins anywhere else. Definitely worth a...More

This is our favorite stop on Jerusalem. Restful respite in a busy city. It is a beautiful, quiet garden setting to go into the empty tomb, listen to groups singing in the distance, beautiful walkways, shade, flowers, and water features. We've gone 5 times, always...More

Not sure if this is the real tomb of Jesus, but it fits the description. I could say that almost certain is not the tomb of Jesus, but looks more than the one the tradition holds to be, the one in the Old City.

This is worth coming to see just for the garden alone. The volunteer staff is very knowledgeable and gracious. They present the case for this being the correct tomb location. You feel like it is the location based on the bible. They have a very...More

I enjoyed the Gardens at this location along with seeing the possible place of Jesus' burial...of what it would possibly look like in the first century. The gardens were beautiful and they provided a free listening guide to tour at your own pace. Should you...More

Jesus was believed to be buried. Although I did not really believe so, I did feel somehow different as soon as entering this place. It is a huge tomb surrounded by a peaceful garden. A good choice for you to see in Jerusalem. Free entrance
