The Garden Tomb is extremely well managed and a high-lite in every itinerary. An ideal location to celebrate. The gift shop has just been renovated and has five tills! So no queues.

One of the sites suggested as the burial place of Jesus, this idyllic garden is a peaceful, quite sanctuary. Designed to offer small groups the opportunity to sit and have a short devotional and communion, your visit starts with a 30-minute tour outlining why the...More

Of everywhere our family visited in the Holy Land, the Garden Tomb was the most precious to us. I don't think our family anticipated what a beautiful place this would be. The guides do such a good job of helping us understand the history and...More

Get ready for an emotional experience when you enter the tomb that Jesus was laid in and arose from. There is a volunteer that gives a 10-15 minute informational speech before you see the tomb which is very informative and useful to understand the crucifixtion...More

TheGarden Tomb was nice but if you can avoid the large tour groups they take lots of time in the tomb which is really small and can only accommodate about 6 people at a time. Also, they ask that you don’t take pictures in the...More

Obviously no one really knows if this is the tomb where the Savior's body was placed after His crucifixion, but even so this is a beautiful, serene place to visit and contemplate Jesus' death and resurrection. It lies just outside of the Old City, and...More

This was a very emotional place for me. We held a communion here and sang I Come to the Garden Alone. Very moving. You can walk through the garden at your own pace but they do move groups through the tomb area at even pace.

Yes, its easier from Damascus Gate - just go directly opposite the Damascus gate; and there are a couple of bakeries opposite, pick up their local bagel or two, its very nice and tasty.
