Overview
More
Green Olive Tours has departures from Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, & Tel Aviv. The company is a cooperative of Israelis and Palestinians, and is a social enterprise focusing on cultural and people-to-people experiences in Palestine an Israel, visiting religious and historical sites, villages, refugee camps, and off-the–beaten track locations. Our guides are knowledgeable and illuminate the culture, politics and history of the Palestinian and Israeli people. Each day-trip is unique. You might find yourself having lunch with a Palestinian or Bedouin family one day, then meeting a Samaritan priest the next. We offer daily tours and multi-day experiences that include home stays in Bethlehem and Palestinian villages. Our tours benefit the local people.

I have now done 4 of Green Olive's programs and they are all highly recommended. Every guide has been knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. Especially recommended is anything to do with Mohamed "Mike" Barakat. In 2015 I stayed with his family in Beit Hanina...More

My family and I took the Dead Sea Jericho tour, and from the first moment we were endeared to Motasem our tour guide. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he engaged us with his personal stories, gave us the story behind the story, and took...More

This was our 2nd Green Olive tour in 2 years. We took the Hebron and Ramallah tour with Muhammed and it was delightful. We also took another tour of Nablus to see Jacob’s Well. Those who choose a Green Oliver tour are generally looking for...More

If you are going to travel to the West Bank, then it's worth it to get the Palestinian point of view. I did the Bethlehem/Hebron tour. I learned a lot, but it got to be "beating a dead horse" after a bit. It is very...More

Thanks for the review. I am glad you found the tours worthwhile. However we are neither pro-Palestinian or pro-Israeli. Our tours do promote human rights and democratic values in a region where they are sadly lacking. As an organisation we do not support any nationalist...More
