7 of us went on a trip organized by Edith
We had 3 teenagers (13, 16 and 19 years old) including 2 boys.
Edith was an excellent guide giving a wealth of information on the culture, remains and landscapes.
She knows a lot of French-speaking people, which allowed us to better understand Jewish culture (Shabbat, kibbutz, etc.).
Our teenagers really appreciated it!
I highly recommend

We booked a full day to visit the most important historical sites of Jerusalem (and the Mount of Olives). The objective was obviously not only to be accompanied to the major sites but above all to receive an exhaustive guided tour explaining the context and the history, and reminding us the crucial stages of the different religions.
Dare I say we had nothing of this... We were kindly taken to the proper sites, this is right, yet with no other information than the ones we had on the city tour book guide. No anecdotes, no in depth explanations, nothing...
This comment may sound harsh and it took me some time to write it, however, I can easily compare this prestation to the two following ones we had the days after with another Israeli tour to visit Bethleem and many other tourist points. It did not compare...
Perhaps didn't we ask enough questions? Yet, asking questions was quite difficult and painful given the little passion Edith showed in replying. She eluded them and replied with closed sentences (cf. the kippa question quoted above by my friend).
In fact, we could have done this by ourselves, taking the little brochures and leaving from Porte des Lions (as recommended in guides) to go through the Via Dolorosa and Golgotha. We would certainly have had the exact same degree of information...
I have been extremely frustrated and feel I did not have a qualitative tour of the Jerusalem critical historical places, be it regarding the religions, the history and the current geopolitical issues. It was way below the relevant level of information I was expecting. In other words, it's been highly disappointing and I have a bitter sweet taste. Not sure what happened, really... For foreigners, it was a bit like the "usual French customer service" - you pay a maximum money to get the minimum in return - and I am French, so I can say it without insulting anyone since unfortunately it is very commonplace... Very sad....

We booked Edith's services as she has been recommended to us. We chose her as we wanted a French guide for this specific Jerusalem tour in order to have a deepen knowledge of the city and the culture. French is our mother tongue but we are fluent in English. Though, we had preferred a French guide to make sure we understand all the subtilities. She picked us up at our hotel and we started with the Mount of Olives. We then came down through the classical via Dolorosa. All the locations were perfect. However we were expecting from a guide deeper explanations of the culture, especially when we duly specified to her at the beginning that we knew almost nothing of the Hebrew culture. At a moment, my friend wanted to know what was the symbol of the Kippah and at what age a man was wearing it. Her answer was "to cover their head"... We started at 10h00 and ended up at 4pm and paid 325 Euros. Though we saw the main monuments and sites we were expecting something else and more history about the Jewish people and traditions. May be our expectations were too high.

We went there as a group with a guide. Visiting a cultural site is always enriching. This library is at the cutting edge of modernity and efficiency. Very beautiful building opposite the Knesset and in a place like Jerusalem.

A visit that is both informative, lively and friendly. Prior presentation of the subject, comments as you go and peripheral explanations on request. Really a great time.
