About Eyal Levin Tour Guide
My name is Eyal Levin, born & raised in Jerusalem. After 4 years of traveling around the world on motorcycle, living 2 years in New York and guiding groups in Ecuador for 5 years, I have decided to come back to Israel and to become a professional tour guide. Together with my university studies, I combine the two biggest loves in my life - History and Traveling! why choosing me? My conception is that every visitor has different interests & needs. This is why I always set a unique itinerary which will be the best one for you. Whether visiting the "must see sights" or those "off the beaten track", "Tailor-Made" isn't just a metaphor when it comes to my tours. It's a true honor to serve as a "Israel window" to so many people all over the world – it would be my privilege to be yours…

In order to cellebrate my husband's birthday, I searched the net for a private guided tour in Jerusalem. Eyal was recommended to us by one of his fellow guides. Lucky us! Eyal surprised us with his vast, vast! knowlege - history, archeology, religions, even linguistics! - and with funny local stories. We had a whole day full of enjoyable learning. Walking through the ancient streets and the modern quarters, Eyal helped us understand the intricate historical events which define the story of Jerusalem and of Israel as a whole, in a very pleasurable way. Highly recommended! Ilanit and Toni, Kfar Sava

It has been 3 years since we went on a day tour in Jerusalem with Eyal. He was phenomenal! Our tour was tailored to the interests of our group of four. While he took us around not only did he volunteer amazing information but as we asked more and more questions he had knowledgeable perspective and answers. His knowledge covered the various groups of people living in and interested in Jerusulem, both past and present. We came away enriched with memories of the place and a lot of new knowledge and perspective. I would recommend Eyal in a heartbeat! P.s. The field for visit date does not allow for a visit before June 2019, so that part is wrong. But I still wanted to post a review. Our trip was June 2017.

I led a group of 9 family to Jerusalem March 2020 .When we arrived my suitcase was missing with vital medications inside. The morning after our arrival we met Eyal Levin to guide us around the Holy City. The first thing Eyal did after meeting us was walk us to a local Arabic pharmacy where Eyal spoke Arabic. I was able to get my medication and I was ready to roll. A few days later still missing my baggage I get a call from the luggage deliverer saying he could not deliver my bag to the Old City. I handed my phone to Eyal to handle the situation and he got my suitcase delivered. Alleluia! Eyal got us through a precarious checkpoint during the corona virus scare out of the West Bank. He did several other things over & above his call as a guide. As for Eyal as a guide, I can easily say he is the best I've had being a previous visitor to Israel. His Knowledge of history, archaeology, religion, science and politics is voluminous. His easygoing sense of humor didn't hurt either. I made special requests for our tour which needed approval from religious authorities for sites off the beaten track. Eyal made the right contacts and came through on my special requests. My group of 9 couldn't stop thanking me for retaining Eyal. Even though Eyal is secular and I a man of faith, I found him to be a forthright human being and respect his professionalism.. If the gracious Lord allows me to return someday I would not hesitate to call on Eyal. What can I say? If you want the best, Eyal Levin

Eyal is a unique one of a kind tour guide. A history professor with an extreme depth of knowledge on all things Israel from ancient to Modern. Our experience with Eyal began before we even landed in Israel. We shared our proposed itinerary and he provided guidance on how many days to stay at various locations. His recommendations couldn't be more spot on. We ended up spending three full days with Eyal and had an incredible time! We ended up touring Haifa, Ceseara, Akko, Golan Heights, Dead Sea, Masada as well as many more small stops around Israel. He tailored the trip to our interests. We stopped at amazing food spots around the way which you would never find online. Eyal's breath of knowledge of politics, history, Jewish, christian, and Muslim history is awe inspiring. I didn't have one question he couldn't answer. If that's not enough, he speaks about five + languages. He went above and beyond with our tours and packed in more than you could imagine in one day. Regardless of your interests or faith, if you are looking for a deep, meaningful, and fun experience in Israel look no further!
