I took two tours, booked through Abraham Tours but conducted by Sandemans---the Three Religions Holy City tour and the Mount of Olives tour. The tours were conducted by different guides, but both were knowledgeable, patient and excited about the city and what they were showing us. I'm retired and not in the best of shape, but found the pace and... More

This was the 3rd tour we arranged. Different guides each time, different styles and patter but they have all been interesting and enjoyable, so learning new points each time. Definitely worthwhile way of exploring such a complex environment.

Had the 4 (actually almost 6) hour walk. Good value for money, great way of getting an overview before exploring on your own. Yariv is incredibly knowledgeable, outgoing and patient, but has a real hard time hiding his hatred for muslims, which makes the tour slightly depressing. Would have liked to have a more neutral and respectful approach from a... More

We did the free 2 hour tour of the Old City but in truth it went on a lot longer. The tour guide was great, very knowledgeable, humorous and managed to keep what was a very large group, upbeat and "moving". We covered all the main religious and historic sites and you really came away with a real sense of... More

A friend and I decided to do the free tour of the 4 quarters in the Old City. We had taken the same company tour in Tel Aviv and had paid for that one. When we went to the meeting place, it turned out that the guide we had in Tel Aviv was our guide in Jerusalem. His name is... More

Sanderman's tours are in many cities in Europe and in Jaffa, Haifa, and Jerusalem. They offer free 2 hour orientation history tours with certified guides working only for tips. We walked thru the old city and all 4 quarters learning history, and getting a good general orientation. Groups average 20 people and this is a way to introduce you to... More

This was by far one of the best tours we have taken. Ryan was fantastic and he provided a thorough and comprehensive overview of the major sites in the Old City. His knowledge of Israel is impressive and he personalized the tour with many "fun facts" and stories. We had a great time and ended the tour with a great... More

Great tour and great tour guide! Jonatan/Jon/Jony was suuuper fun and could really tell us a lot about the old city of Jerusalem! He answered all of our questions and was really open and friendly. And he made sure we spent most of the time listening in the shade - very big plus! The one thing I would recommend you... More

The free waking tour of Jerusalem was very interesting. Ami, our guide was very knowledgeable and had a really good sense of humour. A very good early insight into a huge history in an amazing city. Highly recommend the tour with Sandemans
