This was a great experience from start to end. Not only is the price right for a tour + transportation but the experience itself was one that leaves a lasting impression. The experience does vary by the number of people who sign up, we signed up during January school break so there were a lot of people (100+).
We were provided with coach buses that allowed for a comfortable ride, and a guide to give us an overview of what we were seeing and would see later. The visit to rachel's tomb was crowded because it was rosh chodesh (the beginning of a jewish month; and a specific holiday for women), but that could hardly be blamed on the tour coordination itself.
The tour through chevron itself was full of interesting points as well as a good narrative from Rabbi Hochbaum. It is worth noting that lunch is very late if you have little kids (130-145) so make sure you bring snacks to keep them satisfied.
When you do break for lunch you go to a kosher pizza place that is clearly ready for a crowd because they were able to quickly produce enough food for 100+ people without issue.
Would recommend to others.

It was hard to pinpoint exactly what my "favorite" part. Although this was my third time going with Reb Simcha, each time I walked away feeling inspired .
Each segment is well thought out and paints a full picture of either its history or significance. I enjoyed the whole experience and would gladly go again in the future. (Probably my time at Maaros Machpeilah would be my favorite)

A truly special and wonderful tour infused with insights of both biblical history and modern day history. Each part of the tour gave us a glimpse of Hebron’s past, present, and future. Rabbi Hochbaum who led the tour left no question unanswered and his personal anecdotes made the city come alive. It’s a must-do for all those visiting Israel!

Rabbi Simcha Hochbaum’s tours are a ‘must’ to include in your itinerary. His passion about and insights/knowledge of all things Hebron make this tour very special. I have joined this tour many, many, many times over the years and there is also something new to see / story to hear. Rabbi Simcha combines his knowledge/experiences of Hebron with his great sense of humor and beautiful voice. At times you laugh, at times you cry over the stories.

Rabbi Hochbaum is absolutely incredible- knowledgeable, inspirational, entertaining, and passionate. This tour was enjoyable and definitely have us a much deeper appreciation for the land of Hebron. We can’t wait to do this again next time we are in Israel!

Simcha and his crew are phenomenal, personable and a pleasure to spend the day with.
Todays visit to Chevron was both inspiring and meaningful, even after this being a 5th tour attended over the recent years.

A family favorite for 3 decades of traveling to Israel is the tour with Rav Simcha Hochbaum to Hebron. Your visit includes the modern and historic sites of Maarat HaMachpela & you feel the warm embrace of Avraham, Sarah, Yitzchak, Rivka, Yaakov and Leah. Bring a Tanach and Sidur and know that our ancestors are so close to you. Rav Simcha Hochbaum, resident and tour guide is inspirational in his delivery and his ove for his home is so apparent. Not a tour to miss!!

Davening at kever Rochel and Mearas Hamachpeila is a true privilege and special experience. Couple that with inspirational singing and beautiful stories about our forefathers and you have the one and only Chevron Fund tour with Rabbi Simcha Hochbaum. This tour is a must for anyone who is visiting Israel! It is great for families, couples, and singles alike!

As a person with limited knowledge of Jewish history (I was raised secular), my brain can "shut off" if the links between the past and the present can be overwhelmingly difficult to absorb. Rabbi Hochbaum is one of those rare (unfortunately), supberb teachers who bring them to life. He was enthralling. I learned so much. Am now focusing my reading in a more constructive and helpful way. I look forward to taking this tour every time I come to Israel. I hope he teaches in yeshivot and seminaries....what a treasure.

Jaffa was wonderful getting us together and giving depths of insight till she git out after Kever Rochel.
Vehicle's brake noise was disquieting and irresponsible.
mostly, Hebron was positioned as a physical and spiritual focal point of Judaism. Struggles, there, reflect our
struggles through the ages.
The Hebron story deserves to be the cutting edge against anti Irael and antisemitism, worldwide.
There should be an on-campus Chabad initiative and education series. Will write on it.
Good, like minded, diverse group. Lunching with IDF, an sponsoring, was a treat.
Subtle development process, $, appreciated.
Impact of being to the cave and holy space, has not been fully realized.
Thanks,
Jiel

Jerusalem, no problem!
The Hebron Fund Tour bus actually meets in Jerusalem! It generally leaves from the David Citadel Hotel (across from the Mamilla Mall) at 9:15am unless otherwise specified. There is one stop at the Tomb of Rachel and then onto Hebron!
You can book your tour and view open tour dates on the hebronfund website.
