This lovely upscale mall has a variety of both upscale and more affordable stores, and is especially a nice break from the heat. I like window-shopping here, as I don't feel pressured to buy anything but can still enjoy seeing what's available. Prices are pretty fair here, all things considreed.…

The "Grand-Canyon" Mall is a large mall. It offers many kinds of shops, various restaurants & activities for all ages. We visit there often. Yesterday we went to the "Superpharn" to buy perfume & aftershave. The price is very fair. Few weeks ago I bought elegant pants in the shop named "Crazy Line", &. the price was fair. We allways notice that all places are full with visitors, so it seems all are enjoying being there.…

WE VISITED THE MALL YESTERDAY AND FOUND A HUGE VARIETY OF SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS . THERE IS FREE PARKING UNDERGROUND AND ALSO A HUGE DEPARTMENT STORE , Ha Mashbir. Specialty stores like Disquel and Sworofsky and all the brand names are available. ON Thursdays and Fridays (more difficult to find parking ) there are artists with tables of wares in the aisles. Once we were tired we sat at Mandarin Coffee shop offering food and desserts. We had good coffee and a wonderful baked cheese cake with vanilla topping . Service with a smile came with the cake. When it is very hot outside and you have had enough of sun and sand this is a fun place to visit. You have the escalators as well as elevators so it is handicapped friendly.…

Despite the nightmare involved in trying to find an entrance to this mall, our visit turned out to be well worth the effort. First time visitors take note - there is no access into the mall's parking garage on the north side of the divided highway (Derech Simha) where the mall is physically located. You have enter via an underground road, accessible only from the south side of the highway. And there are no signs directing you toward the parking ramp. Even with GPS, we could not find the entrance and ended up in the Carmel Tunnels heading back west toward Haifa. If you're coming from downtown Haifa, drive past the mall, do a U-turn and go back west a few hundred feet until you see a big blue "P" sign on the right. Turn there to access the underground route to the garage. Once finally underneath the mall, we were pleased to learn that parking is free. Elevators are accessible at different locations in the garage. This mall is four stories high and, unlike typical malls with rows and rows of women's apparel and shoe retailers, Grand Canyon has an interesting variety of retailers. Our first stop was Aroma Coffee on the second floor but, had we known about the 4th floor gourmet grocery and food court, we might have chosen differently. What an incredible selection - dozens of vendors selling wine and cheese, deli delicacies, bakery and cakery, sandwiches, salads and smoothies, even home-cooked hot pasta and goulash to go. It reminded me more of a street market than a food court. I've never seen anything quite like it in a mall. The other outstanding feature of this mall is the gargantuan 3-story playhouse for children of all ages. This jungle seems to easily accommodates 100 children and is sturdy enough for parents to accompany the little ones. Mary Poppins dangles with her umbrella from the mall ceiling, keeping an eye on the activity. We came to Grand Canyon with a specific mission - finding an unusual gift for someone back home. Immediately after our coffee break, we noticed the Judaica retailer next door to Aroma and decided to check it out. What a stunning selection of ornate, collectible berettas, including sheath and/or display stand. We looked no further. The problem was making a selection. The recipient of our gift was thoroughly wowed when he opened it. Being a fan of online shopping, I seriously dislike being elbow to elbow with the hoards typical of retail shopping centers. However, I actually enjoyed the time spent meandering in Grand Canyon Mall.…
